Quaint little house
Property management was really helpful even with the language barrier.
We were so excited to stay at this property but we're very disappointed with the whole thing. First, its extremely difficult to get to with a very narrow road leading to the home. Kitchen is in the basement with a very small single pull out bed. Basement bathroom wasnt very clean. The stairs are awful! They are not secure, if you have any mobility issues or need to hold a rail going up or down stairs, this is not the place for you. There is missing tile on the stairs. Both my daughter and myself tripped on the stairs. My son hit his head on the roof going down the stairs. As for the roof top patio, the main reason way we rented the home, to get to it you have to go though the attic hatch. I'm sure its beautiful up there but the ladder to go up was too unstable for any of us to feel comfortable going up. Not to mention, its right beside the stairs. The master bedroom, the bed is hard as a rock and folds into the middle. The upstairs shower didnt work properly, apparently that was just because someone forgot to open it before we got there. It was bad enough that we only stayed one night, then found a different rental to stay at. I reached out to the owner to let them know of my concerns and that we had to find a different place to stay. I asked for a partial refund and he stopped responding to me. So needless to say, it has been escalated with vrbo. I rent all my holiday homes on this site and have never left a bad review.
Do not stay at this property. Taxi drivers are unable to locate the area. We spent one hour from the Naples train station in our taxi as he was not able to find the wind he rode down to this property as there was road work, and the street was closed partway. You will walk 1 km or more to find food. The “terrace“ is accessed through a attic door overhead, you then need to use an old, metal, pull down ladder, that if you are small, you will not be able to use because the pulldown is too high above your head. You then must push the 60 lb “door” opening above your head until it retracts on its self. Do not try and bring any drinks or plates up the ladder, as you need two hands to maneuver through the opening. There is no shower door or curtain for bathroom on the second floor and you only have a handheld shower and the water will spill all over the ground while showering. The kitchen is in the basement and it’s very dark and moldy and smelly. There are no instructions to use the stove or the oven and the washing machine has no instructions on how to use either. There is no view from the terrace as seen in the picture, as there is an enormous building, directly in front of your eyesight and view. The beds are hard as rocks and the linens are very scratchy and itchy. There is only one outlet for charging any electronics on first floor, and it is next to the stairs where you may sit on the stairs while charging your electronics. Do not rent this property, it is NOT as described and NOT walking accessible.

Beautiful home. We enjoyed the terrace and the living room
I would have given this home a 5 star but the upstairs toilet did not work. Great home overall
