Access to the property was difficult—reaching it required a 10-minute uphill walk, and the location in the listing was inaccurate. We had to contact the owner to find the correct address. This property is not suitable for anyone with limited mobility, which was not disclosed.
We were also not informed that the room would be shared with other guests. Most appliances, including the coffee machine, washer, and dryer, required extra payment, which wasn’t mentioned beforehand. Communication was challenging as the landlord doesn’t speak English; we had to rely on WhatsApp to communicate.
One of the rooms was in the attic with a low ceiling (1.9m), and the floor creaked loudly with every step, making it hard to move at night without disturbing others. The Wi-Fi was unreliable and kept disconnecting. The door handle was loose, the toilet flush button stuck easily, and dust blew out when the AC was turned on.
Sound insulation was poor—conversations could be heard clearly between rooms. Most concerning was the surveillance camera in the dining and kitchen area, raising serious privacy concerns. There was no microwave, and a note in the kitchen stated cooking was not allowed. Overall, the stay was uncomfortable and disappointing.
