Hale Kai 220 does not have A/C, is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo situated on the corner of the 2nd floor, and can accommodate up to 6 guests. Please note that the Hale Kai does not have elevator access. Step inside to the modern open floor plan featuring vaulted ceilings, Smart-TV, comfortable and stylish furnishings and décor. On the main floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a King size bed, ceiling fan, and a flat screen Smart-TV. The second bedroom features Twin size bunk beds and another Smart-TV to enjoy. Finally, the third bedroom is in the loft area featuring a Queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. This condo is flooded with natural light and its corner location offers additional privacy along with stunning views from virtually every room!

The kitchen is remodeled with stainless appliances and is well stocked for guest use and enjoyment. This front row corner condo provides plenty of sunlight and ocean views of the Pacific Ocean and neighboring islands Lanai and Molokai. This condominium features beach access, ocean front location and views, vaulted ceilings, stainless appliances, modern décor and furnishings. Relax on the private lanai while you enjoy a meal with those stunning Maui sunsets as your backdrop. Here you will see whales breaching during the winter months and enjoy the tranquil sounds of the ocean.

Great little Beach condo
We could watch the kids in the pool, and the little Beach next door was perfect for early morning and late afternoon swims before or after our adventures. The condo did not have A/C and was very loud at night with the water so close to the house, and there are no window fixtures so the sun comes in early. We loved the condo and would come back.

We enjoyed our stay very much. You can hear the ocean and jump into a nearby beach where we have seen colorful fish, turtles and even a manta rey! We had some issues with the door lock; the case was handled very professionally and friendly and the lock was exchanged immediately.

Great condo, great location!
This condo is right on the ocean and tucked into a great walkable neighborhood (coffee across the street, ABC store, grocery). If you don't like falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean this condo probably isn't for you or at least bring some ear plugs. The condo itself is nicely laid out and well appointed. No AC but there are fans and the ocean breeze.

Amazing ocean front vacation
We loved our stay at the Hale Kai. The unit is as described and accurately represented in the photos. We loved the location and direct access to the pool and beach. It was also well stocked with beach gear and all the essentials. We had several turtle sightings and even had one come up on the beach. Thanks for a great trip!

A wonderful experience
Our first trip to Maui, many to HI / other islands. We loved the island, the location of this condo and the entire experience. We will be back! The condo was clean, quiet and beds, kitchen, balcony - everything was comfortable. We cooked great meals, slept well and enjoyed the morning view. We loved everything about our stay and the location.

The best spot
Our family of 5 stayed here comfortably. The unit is spacious and we never felt on top of one another. Plenty of necessities to get you by for the first few days, including all of the beach chairs and umbrellas. Walking distance to so many good places to get coffee and eat great food. Great views, clean and quiet. The property is VERY well cared for. Having the pool was also nice when we were tired of being in the ocean. Pictures are accurate besides the bunk beds, they are now separate twin beds. The ONLY downside is how hot it gets (not the owner's fault). The condo would definitely benefit from an a/c unit. We will be back again and will not hesitate to book this condo!

Maui Beach Vacation
The unit is well-located with a lovely view, a pool, and a small adjacent beach (usable more a low tide). It is a typical Hawaiian beach house, with jalousie windows that are a bit old-fashioned. There is no air conditioning, making the loft bedroom a bit warm during the day but the unit cools off nicely at night with lots of fans and ocean breezes. There are no curtains on most windows making it somewhat light at night and not totally private. The lighting is a little sparse, especially over the dining room area. The pool is quite cold. The management was very responsive and well-organized. The unit has a satisfactory kitchen, and parking was never a problem. Overall, it was a very good stay for our family of six.

Great Family Friendly Condo Steps Away from Ocean!
We had a wonderful stay at the Hale Kai during our recent week in Maui. You cannot beat the location of this condo, you are steps away from the water so you hear the waves 24/7, the sunsets are incredible to view each night from your lanai, and there is a small beach area right off the property, or a larger beach/park right next to the property. It was amazing to not have to drive to get a great beach spot! It was a very quiet property too when we stayed, pool was never crowded and noise was never an issue. As is common in Maui, there is no AC in the unit, and it gets HOT. We have young kids who stayed in the bunk bed room (the pictures show a bunk bed but it’s actually 2 twins side by side), and it would be dangerously hot in that room during the day, over 90 degrees. We had to move them to our room for naps which was fine, but worth mentioning. There also is very little privacy in the bedrooms. The condo is mainly windows which is great for the views, but both the main bedrooms had large windows that weren’t frosted so people could see right in, you also rose with the sun since there were no curtains to block the light. The bedroom on the main level faces the parking lot and street, and the windows don’t fully close, so there is a bit of noise at night. The condo is spacious and very well equipped with everything you may need in the kitchen, as well as the beach. It wasn’t super clean when we got there which was a little disappointing, several dishes and utensils that were put away in the cabinets still had food on them, and the bathroom floors looked like they’d maybe missed being mopped. Overall it was a good spot for our family and we really enjoyed our stay. Mahalo!

First let me say this property is in the absolute perfect location. It feels oceanfront with the best views ever. The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been to have a cyclones fan in every room. The condo has everything you could need for a fabulous vacation. Beautiful location
Property was in great location. Restaurants and grocery stores were nearby. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, even basic spices. Even with 3 rain filled days this was a great location. Every morning/ late afternoon the turtles eating on the reef entertained us. After the storm a large pod of whales went by. Communication with property manager was handled quickly when a small issue arose. Would definitely rebook this unit again. If lights are a bother while sleeping bring a eye mask, no curtains. Windows are frosted so not a privacy issue.

Great location
The location was great. The pool and beach right outside our balcony made for extra relaxing mornings and evenings with 4 kids from ages 8-15. The space was just right for the 6 of us. The property managers were very prompt in responding to questions prior to our trip and 2 things that came up while staying at the property. No window coverings made for early mornings when the sun came up, but we are mostly early risers. We would stay again.

Hale Kai 220 is a Breezy Gem!
This on the water, poolside, beach access, turtle watching place is a breezy, sunset every night from the balcony gem. No other unit compares to this updated, corner unit with expanded living space and 3 bedrooms/2 full baths that accommodates 6 adults so well. Plus, beach chairs, towels, umbrella and toys are included. And My Perfect Stays management team was on call as needed.
