Direct Oceanview Quiet and Relaxing, new A/C, free WIFI

Our fully air conditioned condo unit 607 is beautifully appointed with island decor throughout. From the moment you step in the door you will be greeted by a breathtaking view of the ocean and gardens and Molokai Island to the right. As you proceed to our lanai with seating for four, you may be greeted by sail boats passing by and surfers just off shore. A short walk to the shoreline at the edge of the property and you can often see green sea turtles as they feed on coral in the surf. You'll enjoy free wifi throughout the condo and flat screen cable tv in the bedroom and the living room. Our full kitchen is well stocked with service for 4 and a washer/dryer is provided in the unit. The dining table seats 4. The master suite is large with a comfortable king bed w/luxury linens and a flat panel TV/DVD player. Free wireless internet (WIFI) is available within the unit. The bathroom includes a tiles walk-in shower with luxury linens. The couch in the living room folds out to a queen bed, so the condo sleeps four comfortably and a flat screen TV with DVD player and wireless connection to Netflix and other online services. A slider gives you access to the lanai from the living area, and master bedroom. This provides breathtaking and seemingly private garden, ocean and mountain views. The Royal Kahana property boasts a spacious pool area with a large heated pool; an impeccably maintained lawn area with lounge furniture for sunbathing; a large indoor cabana for dining and entertainment; several gas barbecues, ping pong tables, and shuffleboard. There is an exercise room with treadmills, weight machines, and stair-stepper. Parking is available outside or in the underground garage. The Royal Kahana resort charges $18 per day for parking.

Everything was great. Couple small issues. Nothing serious. Front door is finicky. Doesn't want to open on occasion. Everything was very clean. Except for the bathroom wall behind the door. Long black hairs stuck to the wall. Im bald. Definitely not mine. Really enjoyed my stay. I would most definitely stay here again. Thank you for the nice accommodations Kevin.

Two week visit
The overall stay was pretty much as we expected; the pictures and descriptions in the VRBO listing were right on. The views from the rooms and balcony were fantastic. The bed king size bed was very comfortable. We liked the large shower, which was nicer that the shower/tub combo the we had in a similar unit on a previous visit. The kitchen was also well stocked, only missing a whisk. The place was getting a little tired; a fresh coat of paint and some other updating could help The only other weakness was the air conditioning. It didn’t cool the place on our first day of the visit after the place was closed. It didn’t really affect our visit since it really didn’t get too hot and the breezes kept the place perfect. I’m not sure how it would be during warmer weather.

Construction is very noisy
Room itself is spacious and clean, but the building is very old and major repair is going on from 9am to 4:30 pm. Noise like someone drilling your wall, si we can't stay the place at all. Its oceanfront but not beach front either

I learned the difference between ocean view and beach view. We could see the water, but what the photos don’t show are the ricks and sand bags. The view is blocked at pool. So you have to drive to get Beach. Honestly I would have been better off at a near by property with good amenities and beach access with no view. The property is well stocked with beach towels and snorkel gear and pots and pans. The TV coverage was subpar. I could never get the TV in the bedroom to work. I think the big miss in this is the location.

Great stay. Enjoyed watching whales every morning from the balcony, and also seeing sea turtles! Conveniently located, great location. Heated pool was an added benefit and the grills were impressively clean. Would return!

28th annivarsary of marriage on Lahaina Beach.
Overall very nice. Not so good all the NOISY CONSTRUCTION everday but Sat n Sun. Room was great, view was great and got to see alot of whales all 7 days.

Great getaway spot!
First time trip to Maui and I am so glad we stayed here! Communication with the property Owner prompt and informative - MB sent us a detailed message about the property rules, offerings and parking situation. Booking with them was a breeze. The property itself was nice - the view as we walked in the condo literally made us drop our bags, no joke!! It also had the perfect amount of amenities! The condo came stocked with beach chairs, beach towels a cooler and snorkeling gear. It also had a full kitchen with a drip coffee maker and just about every utensil/pot & pan you need. We didn’t really need to use the AC, seeing as it was December, it only got low 80s each day. The bedroom has a nice ceiling fan as well as an additional fan if needed. But you get a great breeze from the ocean and adjoining lanai door. Speaking of lanais, I drank coffee every single day with this view - it was absolute heaven. I’m pretty sure if we had traveled a little later in the month, we would have been able to see whales. Front desk staff is friendly and the pool area is kept nice and even has a little snack shack with fruit cups and smoothies. The condo is walking distance to a Whalers General store, Shell gas station and a McDonalds. You may have to go a little ways down or to another property to “sit” on the beach staying here, but that might also be different in another season or timeframe. This IS definitely oceanfront, though. Looking forward to staying here again!!

This condo has all the basics and more... we had plenty of towels; beach equipment ; etc. It was very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with dishware; pots/pans; etc. The view from the lanai is great and the sound of the waves is so soothing...

The first thing I noticed when we opened the door, was the view of the ocean that looked to be “right there.” My favorite thing to do was to sit on the lanai and look for sea turtles bobbing up and down in the surf. The unit was clean and well stocked with everyday items, except BBQ worthy tongs or spatula. Good location with easy access to the Honoapiilani Highway. The pool area is large and the pool is heated. Our only issues in the unit were with doors sticking and being difficult to close or open.

Beautiful Condo & Awesome View
The condo was well furnished with a comfortable couch and bed. It was very clean, and the ocean view was awesome. Most of the ocean front condos I have stayed in have a bedroom window that faces the exterior corridor. The bedroom here had a window facing the ocean as well as a door to the patio. Perfect! This was our second condo as we extended our original stay to help the humane society with providing pet essentials to fire victims. We wish we had been here the entire stay.

Amazing Condo in Prime Location!
From booking and check-in to checking out, our entire experience was absolutely fantastic. Michael provided all of the necessary details we needed leading up to our stay and was very quick to respond whenever we had questions. The condo is in great condition and is in a prime location -- in a peaceful part of town, but still only minutes from shopping, restaurants, and some of the best snorkel spots on the island (including swimming with sea turtles!). The unit has great views of the beach and the entire island of Molakai, including full visibility of the sunsets from the patio. It was also fully stocked with everything we needed, from bedding and towels to kitchenware, appliances, and beach equipment. The only opportunities for improvement might be a firmer mattress for the sofa bed, as our teenage daughters could still feel the springs a little bit even through the provided pad, and maybe some thicker/heavier blankets. They were still able to get a comfortable night's rest throughout our stay, though. We've had FAR worse sofa beds at other places, so this was really a minor item. Also, the washer was a little musty from mildew, but likely from previous guests not knowing that front load washers need to be kept open when not in use to allow them to fully dry -- not the owner's fault at all. Aside from those two minor things, we absolutely loved the place and would definitely consider staying here again if we are able to visit Maui again.

We can’t say enough about our stay at Michael’s place at Royal Kahana. The unit was as described. The location is perfect, lots of options (restaurants, shops) within a 30 minute walk. Great communications with Michael. Definitely recommend!
