We Love Papakea
This was a beautiful unit for our 4th stay in Papakea. Seamless booking and check-in. The resort is close to many amenities and the property itself is so refreshing and relaxing. We would stay again for sure!

I really liked property and usually expedia offers great deals but looking at papakea’s rates going through them directly i would have saved $1200 for the 9 nights going through them plus had two bedrooms instead of 1.i guess next time i should just check condo directly and go with best deal

Will definitely stay here again.
Everything was super clean, modern and exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was well-stocked and the location was great. There was a nice view from the Lanai and we enjoyed having our coffee every morning while looking at the ocean. I have stayed at over 20 rental properties and this one was one of the best.

We have stayed at Papakea many times, and this is our 3rd year in this condo. . The location is perfect with a mountain and an ocean view, and close to the pool and hot tub. The unit has been recently updated and is so well equipped. We love it! Papakea is a wonderful resort, with attention to detail in both the grounds and the buildings.

This condo was perfect for the two of us to start off our honeymoon! Lura responded quickly and let us know our room was ready early, which we really appreciated! We felt like we were on a resort without the crowds. It was Awesome.

January 2024 Maui stay
Lura’s unit is not only beautiful but so well thought out. Plenty of storage, a well-equipped kitchen, surprisingly great view too. Lots of extra touches were appreciated, such as hooks in the shower to hang wet suits to zip lock bags for food storage. Even some thoughtful touches like hot chocolate and popcorn! Would definitely recommend!

Location, Location, Location!
This resort is lovely! Lots of activities, 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, plenty of BBQ's, well manicured grounds and gardens and the views...gorgeous! Everything you need is within walking distance including grocery, restaurant, rentals, beaches, etc. J307 is a 3rd floor end unit so lots of light making it feel large and bright.

Our vacation was absolutely perfect for 14 days. The condo had everything we needed that made us feel like home. We cooked in some and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Lura has the condo decorated to perfection, we will definitely keep this in mind on next trip to Maui 🌴🌼🌺🍍

Five Star, we’ll be back
Everything feels newly renovated, the mattress is extremely comfortable, AC works great, appliances are new and feel high end. The view is great. I couldn’t be happier with the property. A quick walk south will take you to some sandy beaches and a whole line of resorts with food and drinks. I’ll definitely be back.

3 year Anniversary Stay <3
Booked this paradise as a last minute surprise trip for my Fiance and myself and it was the most fantastic time we could have asked for! Having never stayed in a traditional VRBO and only in the full resorts, this location was so relaxing, private and calm for our needs/wants. The size of the condo was perfect for the two of us with plenty of space to relax, cook, etc. The location is also close to plenty of great beach spots that are less than a 5 minute drive away, just remember to go early for any free parking! As well as tons of local shops and eating spots within walking distance. We were upset to finally go and hope to come back soon! Thank you!

This is the second time we have stayed in this condo at Papakea and we love it!!! The condo is beautiful, very well equipped, and the perfect location!! Lura and Shawn are wonderful hosts and are so responsive when we have a question or concern. We can't wait to return to J307 next year!!

Our stay was great. Condo has everything you will need. Pool & activities all fine & very clean. The property grounds are very well looked. BBQs are the cleanest I've ever seen. The golf putty range was fun. I do recommend though that the cleaners need to use a newer or fresh mop to mop the condo floor a little better. But all in all a great place & would visit again

Beautiful Condo
The condo looks as it does in the pictures. Very clean and well kept. We had a wonderful time and Lura was very responsive whenever I had questions. My questions were very simple, like 'where can I find XX' in their condo. She would respond w/in a 30min time window, and always very kind. We were w/in walking distance to beaches, restaurants, etc. If you wanted a longer walk, you can even walk all the way to Whaler's Village and back, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks Lura for hosting us at your beautiful condo!

The BEST location and accommodations
We truly loved everything about our time at Lura’s condo and felt like we were in our home away from home. The views are incredible and nothing can beat the location! The condo had everything we needed and more, it was equipped with beach chairs and an umbrella, towels, and the property has so many fun amenities. I even took a lei making class! The staff on site were so friendly and helped us with anything we needed which wasn’t much since we had everything we needed at the condo. We will absolutely be back and could not recommend this condo more! Thank you, Lura and Papakea Staff!

Perfect in every way!
We love the Papakea and have stayed at the resort many times, it’s more low key and peaceful which we love. This is the first time in this particular unit and we loved it. The owners did a great job on the remodel! Looks great! Kitchen is well stocked and layout makes sense, bed is cozy and views are fantastic from the balcony. We actually prefer where this unit faces because the sun doesn’t create a glare at any time during the day. In other units that face directly out to the ocean we’ve had to draw our curtains. Here we were able to enjoy the shade on the balcony and the incredible ocean view at all times. Super pretty grounds and great pool/jacuzzi! Convenient to great places to eat like the Fish Market and across the street from the Grocery store. Great location to take walks down to Kaanapali or the other direction towards Napili Bay. You won’t regret selecting this unit.

Beautifully Updated
The corner unit is tastefully updated. Quiet, and with great views we felt very comfortable staying here. The grounds are immaculate and family friendly. We hosted a number of family gatherings there, with the large table and seats, we easily accommodated our party of 7 for meals. You won't find everything you might need in the kitchen yet, the items were newer and in very good condition, just came up a little short on a few essentials.

We booked this stay last minute and based on the pictures as past reviews it seemed like a great place to stay. When we.opened the blinds we discovered the adjoining buildings could look directly into the residence. We immediately contacted the owner (who was responsive) but unwilling to shorten our stay or provide any refund for unused nights. Ice maker was not working upon arrival. The first night we awoke at 5AM to large machinery outside our door blaring beeping sounds.

Nice property and professional host.
Condo is well appointed and in a nice resort. Experienced a hiccup during check in but was handled as well as could be expected by very respectful property owners. The interior is very nice and comfortable. The only down side to the unit (which may not be an issue for many) is the location of the AC unit in the living area. The unit doesn’t push cold air into bedroom. If you open windows in bedroom and living room you can get a nice breeze through the unit but you hear everyone traveling the stairwell outside the bedroom. Aside from lack of cold air in bedroom, the unit is near perfect. Again, owners are very professional.
