Great space
We loved the condo - clean and spacious, easily accommodated three families totaling 7 people. Great location and very quiet. The only thing we didn't love was the beach access (or lack thereof). Listing indicated an easy access but it wasn't, had to jump off a wall and then attempt a slippery climb back up. But overall it was a great stay.

Amazing views and plenty of room!
This property was perfect for our family vacation. If you're looking for a place with amazing views, a quiet beach, sea turtles galore, dolphin and whale sightings from the lanai, gorgeous sunsets, and plenty of room to spread out, this is the place for you! The property is a little "beach worn" but that wouldnt deter us from renting it again. Everything we needed for fun on the beach was provided including ample beach towels, sand toys, chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. The location is close to restaurants and an outstanding food truck park. Thank you for sharing the beauty of Maui with us!

Awesome location and view.
We loved staying here. Great beach and we loved being right on the beach literally. The only reason that I do not give it 5 stars is it could really use some updating but we loved our stay.

Our stay just north of Lahaina
As amazing as the on line photos were the actual living space and view and melodic sound of the crashing waves surpassed our expectations. Great parking, great pool, virtual private beach (never crowded often alone). A few minutes drive from a convenience store and 15 minutes drive from Lahaina with a Safeway, shopping and great restaurants. We loved it and we shall be back !!

Wonderful view, but..
The view is spectacular especially from the master bedroom. However. The home is outdated and needs upgrades and deep clean. The guest bathroom shower was very wonky and we found baby cockroaches in the kitchen on a couple days. We kept the kitchen spotless and put all food, including dry food in the fridge. It can get warm in the loft and back bedroom. The view and location is why I gave this a 4; otherwise, a 3

Can’t beat the view ! Large comfy unit
You will love staying here! Can’t beat the ocean view, quiet location, private beach, daily turtles, close to restaurants and shopping. Randy is a fantastic host and deserves 5 stars. Extremely responsive and helpful . Place is nice. Could use fresh paint here or there but overall super nice. Large unit which seems a pretty rare thing in Hawaii. Our family loved it ! Plenty of space for everyone.

The ultimate ocean view in comfortable surroundings
Randy Hull is a thoughtful host, always providing quick responses and offering generous options as situations arise. This year he offered to share the cost of a highchair and had also added a baby stroller to his already impressive supply of beach amenities. The condo also reflected many nice upgrades and is, as always, the ideal place for our family to stay. We have already booked this condo for next year.

Beautiful !
We had an amazing time on our family vacation. The view and location could not have been better! The only complaint the family had was how hot it was and thus made it difficult to sleep at night. A few additional fans would have helped. We did hear from others that the temps were higher than usual. Will definitely be back!!!

Amazing view!
My family and I had an amazing stay at this property! We stayed for 7 days and 6 nights. The view from the master bedroom and living room was absolutely breathtaking. There's no ac at this condo, but with the windows open at night, it's nice. We also had a sea turtle that would visit the private beach every single day! The only downside was that I wish the condo itself was cleaner. Ended up cleaning the condo during the stay and that made it better.

Parents 50th Wedding Celebration Trip
Stayed at the condo with a family of seven for ten days over spring break. Overall good experience but complaints from other reviews are valid. Pros: Location. Second to none. Watch a beautiful sunset every day, turtles on the beach, watch whales breach offshore…fall asleep to the sound of waves. Pool and beach fantastic. Condo is big and mostly well equipped (see cons). Even had a monk seal on the beach one day! Cons : Not overly clean and starting to show it’s age. Squashed bugs in cutting board cupboard, kitchen chairs that need to be tightened before using or they’ll fall apart, couldn’t get the TV in master bedroom to work, lack of some amenities you think it would have (tinfoil, plastic wrap). Not enough diner seating for parties over four. Frankly I thought it would be a touch nicer for the price we paid (1500 Canadian all in per night), but the location and views make up for a lot . Overall a great experience but maybe not enough for the price we paid to ever return.

Great place to stay
We had 7 adults. We stayed for two weeks. The location was amazing. Turtles came up on the beach. Snorkeling, body surfing, swimming, and surfing can be done at the property. We rented surfboards and paddleboards for one day. Would have done more if we realized we could have the boards delivered and picked up there. The carpet does need to be cleaned or removed and tile put in. Once you get past the spots on carpet you don't think about it again. It is a great area to go for morning and evening walks. Property Manager responded promptly to texts/phone calls.

Breathtaking Views
We had an incredible vacation at this spacious condo. Our family of five adults had plenty of room and enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, and breathtaking views. We especially loved watching the turtles in the water and on the beach as well as the gorgeous sunsets. The home was cooled with fans and quite comfortable in January. It is probably time to update the snorkel gear, replace the screen doors, and purchase additional dining chairs and kitchen stools (as pictured). In addition, the attic space access door needs to be fixed. Despite this, we can't wait to go back and rent this fantastic condo again.

Perfect. Will stay again.
Whales galore off shore. Very visible but bring binoculars for the best experience . Turtles on the beach and in the water everyday. Snorkeling was great. Very friendly and courteous neighbors. Bagpipes and conch at sunset from residents, perfect sunset view on terrace. Kitchen well equipped. Safeway quick drive away. Need charcoal to BBQ. Great company at the BBQ, fun people. Beds were comfortable. Did not use TV, too much to do. Not far from Lahaina and many other things. Will be coming back with a big group. I do recommend renting a car. Saves so much time and you can get more done. Parking spaces avaulable.

Family vacation stay
We spent an 8 day vacation in maui at this location. There were some good things and some bad things about this property. Pro: location is central to both Napili and Kaanapali and the condos are quiet and right on the beach. The place is spacious and did provide beach towels and chairs. The kitchen was well stocked. Cons: shabby....desperately in need of a good cleaning. There was literally thick dust in one of the bedrooms and the general upkeep is low. Advertised for 8 people. There was bedding for 6 people. We called for a blanket for the pull out bed and took two days to get one. We had someone sleeping which beach towels for warmth. Beware that although the other residents of the condo complex are VERY nice, it's an older group and there are NO ball or pool sports allowed on the grass.....so don't think you are going to toss a ball around with your kids. Finally we had a check out at 11:00-noon as stated in our instructions and at 10:30 we had a man who knocked and said he needed us out and stood outside the door and waited until we we hurried and packed and left. We had a great time with our family but would not probably book again due to everything noted above.

Beautiful Location!!
The location of this condo was beautiful! Ocean view is spectacular! There was no a/c but open windows at night let in wonderful breezes and the sound of the ocean! The accommodations were roomy, but the beds were not queen size as stated. The master was a king, but the other two beds were definitely only doubles. The 3rd bedroom was extremely small. The mattress on the bed in the loft was in desperate need of replacement. You rolled straight to a hole in the middle. The entire condo was in dire need of a deep cleaning. My wife suffered from eye irritation and my daughter had sneezing and congestion due to dirt/dust and what appeared to be some mold in damp areas. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but we were disappointed in the upkeep of the condo itself.

Beautiful Views!
Our family has only ever stayed at Hale Mahina Beach Resort and we love it. You can’t beat the views and this unit definitely has amazing views because of its large layout and being a corner unit. Randy, the Owner, was amazing to work with and communication was top notch. Having stayed at several units for over three decades now, the only two things we noticed were lack of towels; there were seven of us and we only had six large wash towels and the unit looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t horrible, but floors, bedrooms and bathrooms could definitely use deep cleaning. The floors looked like they hadn’t been swept and bathrooms could’ve used more cleaning. Again, our review is based on stays at previous units plus we had family staying at another unit, so we know the difference. However, don’t let this discourage your stay at this Unit. We’re just basing our review on other units and also feel it’s important for the owner to know what we experienced. If you have a large family and want to stay together this Unit is perfect! Mahalo!
