Even though it was far away, we could see whales out in the ocean from our balcony! The beach was only a short walk away. The breakfast was great. The common spaces were really nice and comfortable. We stayed at 7 different hotels, all very very nice, in our almost 3 week trip of South Africa, and our room here (the Southern Right Suite) was one of the best. Very large with a cool bathroom. Hermanus is a very nice town with spectacular scenery. "
