"My two sisters and I stayed in the upstairs hideaway at Hennessey House last weekend when we had a girls’ trip to Napa. This is very much a no-frills property. It was perfect for our needs, because when we go to Napa, we are not really interested in spending time or money at a hotel – – we want to save that for the wineries and restaurants! Check-in was very easy; the property is a lovely Victorian house on a quiet street, but only about a 10 minute walk into downtown Napa. Breakfast was served...

"Amazing hotel with the friendliest staff and the warmest welcome. Bathroom was quite small but the room had lots of character and I loved our stay here. Complimentary wine time in the afternoon was lovely on the terrace, breakfast was delicious as were the cookies! It was such a relaxing place to stay - I’ve already booked to return!! "

"We had a very enjoyable time staying at the Blackbird Inn. The only downside is that our room seemed to be on a busy street and we definitely experienced some traffic noise including emergency vehicles in the middle of the night. Other than that, the room was very nice (love the fireplace and balcony), the inn is gorgeous with all of its Craftsman charm, and we would definitely stay again!"
