What stood our most, however, was the service. Staff was attentive and kind to the highest degree. For example, with only 1 hour notice, I called the front desk to help surprise my partner for her birthday with a treat in our room upon our pending return for the evening. Within an hour, they had set up an extravagant birthday display and a wine bottle with glasses. It made our trip even more special and I am grateful! Additionally, as English speakers, we had no problem with the language barrier and found that most staff spoke proficient English."
