"Lovely atmospheric hotel with interesting architecture The staff were all very friendly and helpful The garden are nice even in February but too wet out to fully explore. Could do with a bit of touching up here and there but our room was very comfortable with the biggest shower ever!"

"Jo Stephen are warm and welcoming, very friendly and attentive. The hotel is perfect for us, warm clean and cosy, a wonderful location, with the most magnificent views of the bay. The sunrise from bed this morning was incredible 💖 many thanks to Jo Stephen for looking after us during our stay, lots of tips on local knowledge. Carparking very convenient too. Lovely stay"

"A last min booking for new years eve! I booked a family room for myself , Hubby and 7 year old son. The day arrived and the weather forecast was awful and nearly stopped our visit however after prompt, helpful communication from Regan we decided to try and brave the travel. "My brother and i stayed here for the weekend. We were greeted warmly by the staff here, he was a really friendly and helpful person. The room was small but cosy. The location is second to none, a 10 minute walk to the centre of Llanberis. We had pizza here the 2nd evening and it was sublime. We also had a chance to meet the owner aswell, and she was lovely too. A really amazing place to stay."

"This hotel defied my expectations. After staying in brand hotels for the majority of my week long stay in the UK, this hotel was a breath of fresh air. Great parking considering the area, warm service, and excellent room design and cleanliness that felt like staying at grandma's house in the best of ways, the only exception being the wonderfully modernized bathrooms. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the wonderful little spot that Conwy is."

2 night stay in the Gwydyr Hotel Betws-Y-Coed.

"An excellent 2 night stay in a single room in the Gwydyr Hotel, Betws-Y-Coed. My room was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. We were a party of 7 plus a dog celebrating a 50th Birthday. We ate in the hotel both evenings and we all enjoyed our food. The breakfast menu included continental and cooked food which was well presented and delicious. There was plenty of space to relax in the comfortable lounges. All the staff were were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Pricewise I would say that it was good value for the level of comfort and service. All in all I would recommend the Gwydyr Hotel when staying in this beautiful part of Wales. "
