"This hotel could be fabulous, but there are a few teething problems still. No balcony furniture, had to request this. Husband cut his foot on parasol base, razor sharp edges on metal parts. The response from the onsite manager and team was very good though. No sauce pans in rooms despite there being a hob! Had to request this from reception. No instructions for microwave / oven or dishwasher (which had no cutlery holder). Bed is comfortable, though pillows a little firm for my liking. Breakfast...

"The apartment was spacious and clean. The breakfast was worth pre booking with enough options for us. Ok for families but not the best. The shower was impossible to use if you were not a tiny person. Tuk Tuk service was great. Basic apartment set up that was helpful for making food. Staff was very kind and helpful "

"The property is quite a distance away from the Ploen Chit BTS and nearby convenience store. The tuk tuk shutter service is also not readily available (5pm - 7pm) which makes it not as appealing as other accommodation of similar pricing. Breakfast options are minimal as well."

"It is clean and location is good. Just a bit noisy in the first day morning. Staff is polite but not warm enough. No one helps to carry the luggages to the cap or open the door for you. "

"Staff are friendly and attentive, the Shama is spacious and clean. Definitely recommend this spot, we especially liked the roof top infinity pool, the fitness room was great, the entertainment room for family and children is lacking some attention. "

Beautiful but pricey

"The hotel was gorgeous! Our room was practically a one bedroom apartment with a balcony overlooking the river. We did not stay on the club floors. The only issue I had was with the Sky Bar. The views are splendid while the prices are "Sky High"! 1700 Baht for a 4 oz glass of wine. Go up for the views but have a cocktail elsewhere. We didn't eat at the restaurants because there prices were high as well. I will say the breakfast which was included in the price of the room, was exceptional! Would recommend but eat your meals elsewhere unless you want very high end prices."
