"To be clear: This house is a very old farmhouse, in a small isolated village in rural France. It was certainly not a luxury location at the time of our visit, in summer 2020. And still, we had AN AWESOME TIME despite some issues with the condition of the house! The location: The house is about 50min from the sea, in a tiny friendly farming village. "Lovely clean and modern apartment for the night, 5 minute walk to the dunes/beach and the local town. Aircon didn't seem to be very effective and it was a warm night which did cool down by the morning. Had a nice dip in the pool in the evening and it's nice that the pool has late access. Would return if in the area. "

"House not very welcoming with chairs on table like a closed cafe. Also, bowls and cups had chips and cracks in them and a few not cleaned well. Saying that, host was very responsive and helpful and answered all our questions. Location was great and house was comfortable. You have to pay for parking on all roads but spaces right outside. Lovely area for cycling"
