"There is a lot to like about the Slightly Chilled Yellow House. The staff was excellent - very knowledgeable and eager to accommodate any request. Breakfasts were very good and plentiful. The location is great - just 500m to the start of the Adam’s Peak trail. And there are other walks through tea plantations right out the door. The room was generally fine, though felt a bit tired - not run down, just not crisp. It also smelled musty."

"I had booked this hotel for one night on 13th Feb 2020. We had come to Nallathaniya only to climb the Adam's Peak. We were to arrive in the evening, stretch out a bit, spend the night climbing Adam's peak and check out after breakfast. As we were to spend just a few hours at the hotel, all that we expected was a decent room with a clean functional bathroom. Alas! we were in for a huge disappointment.
