"Waya is a sensational addition to the Yasawa islands offering fantastic amenities, great staff and a relaxed vibe. Although lacking a traditional beach there is certainly enough to walk along and easy access to the reef for snorkelling. The large pool adds to the relaxing options and the staff could not have been more friendly. Activities are none through to large hikes, village visits and coral reef visits. Food is excellent with a variety offered across the week and of great quality. As regulars to Fiji this is a definite repeat "

"However very hard to get to, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days on the island. It was quiet and safe and we felt very much at peace in our bure, thus the added bonus of its inaccessibility to the noisy public. The Fijian staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. If there was a negative it would be the food/cooking quality. The breakfasts were outstanding but the buffet-style dinners and lunches were too bland and overcooked and became repetitive! "

"-Seaside bures were so lovely and cool even though no ac or wifi, the outdoor shower was beautiful -The staff are incredibly friendly and have made us want to come back just for kuata -The food was great with mostly buffet style. Not many options if you have diet restrictions though or allergies. -The dive team was super professional and did such a good job to help us all do a shark dive, we are super thankful. -I had a bad experience at the spa so I wouldn’t recommend it. -The Fiji night, signing dancing were all apart of giving us such a great experience. -The dining outside for dinner is super cute and romantic although no options if it rains. Highly recommend. "

"This was pretty close to a perfect island vacation that I could imagine. The resort is small but we didn't get a sense of cabin fever. There are 3 pools and a nice stretch of beach with great snorkeling right there. Daily activities including snorkel by boat, guided hikes on surrounding islands, fishing, etc helped ensure there was always something to do. The food was fabulous with fine-dining experiences for dinner every night. The staff was friendly, chatting and seemed genuinely happy for us to be there while the second resort we stayed at in the Mamanuca Islands didn't have the same vibe. We hope to go back again!"

"What a wonderful experience. Starts with a beautiful open boat ride with your host Bill and Paula from the big island to your homestay. The water is crystal clear. Keep your eyes open for fish and other marine life. Your first view of your cabin is right when the boat comes in to drop you off. Be prepared that you might get a little wet as you wade in from the boat. The cabin is very rustic but spacious and clean. There is all the bedding you need and mosquito nets over most the beds. The shower and toilet is just out the back door in seperate stalls with a light . Bill and Paula very clearly explain meal times, protocol in the 2 villages that are very walkable, what excursion are available and include you in the various village activities. They were great in answering all our questions. Meals were very generous in serving size and much of the food served was harvested from their land or the sea. You eat what they eat ,a very authentic meal experience .You take your meals up the hill to their house out on a open deck. View is beautiful. We enjoyed both the swim with mantas and night fishing.Its shallow right in front of the cabin but you can still snorkle. It is fun to walk through the village sitting out on the mats with the local people. All are so friendly and enjoyable to hear their stories. We had the priviledge of being able to attend one of their celebrations. Hospitality was great. Souvenirs are available which support locals. Hard to leave new friends. "
