"From the time you arrive, you are made to feel very welcome, you park at the top and you walk down to the lodge. You are greeted wirh an extraordinary place. Sea Eagles swoop down and fish in front of your eyes, birds everywhere, a birdwatching paradise. We had lunch overlooking the salt water lake mesmerised, binoculars fixed. Lunch was 4 course of delicious freshly prepared food. After lunch our guide, Wilson took us on a walk/hike around the crater and beyond. We saw many birds and animals close up. It was magical, and his knowledge was encyclopedic. Our dinner that night was again delicious and we enjoyed chatting to Peter who runs the bar and restaurant. I can thoroughly recommend this place, wish we could have stayed anothe night."

"We had a wonderful and enjoyable two-night stay at Sopa Resort. The grounds are beautifully populated with calm zebras, waterbucks, and giraffes, which makes them easy to photograph. "We were assigned at the last cottage which is very far from the reception. There was no transport avail for us to go to and fro the resto and recep area. That’s why we opted for room service for both dinner and breakfast since it is unsafe to go to the restaurant when there is no ample lighting and the way up is not very well lit and not cemented. It could have been better if they asked us our cottage preference especially that we are not from Kenya ans it is our first time in the country. "

"What a great place! A lot of historic charm and wildlife on the grounds - the staff were amazingly kind and gracious. Reception team was warm and welcoming. Excellent hot showers. In passing conversation, my husband mentioned that the Lake Naivasha Country club was where he proposed to me 25 years ago. The operations manager Danep somehow noted this and a few hours later at dinner arranged to have a beautiful cake made that said "marry me again". It was such a thoughtful touch! We will definitely be back!"
