"We were looking for a place to begin the Road to Hana. This location in Haiku was perfect. We were able to get an early start the next day to beat the crowds. We stayed here again on the way back after our stay in Hana. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to Paia town where there are little shops and great eateries: fish, flatbread, ice cream, shave ice, etc. I got here a couple minutes before check in at 4 but received no communication from the owner on how to check in. Apparently the email doesn’t...

"Tradewinds cottage was perfect for our little family. The surroundings are stunning and the condo the perfect place to come back to after a long day of exploring gorgeous Hana. "The sliding doors to the decks were "interesting." They need work. Otherwise, the communication with the owner was excellent. And the space was funky-cool. The Thai food truck in nearby Haiku was a revelation."
