Ten minute walk to public beach access. Quite private location with live oaks providing shade. Bottom level of a private home. One bedroom/one bath. Perfect getaway for a couple. Easy access to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Walk to Nags Head Woods or Barnes Street Park. A short drive or bike ride to Jockey’s Ridge, Wright Brothers Memorial, and Nags Head Ecological Preserve. WiFi, and Prime Video. TVs are also set up for your other steaming services. This property was quaint, quiet and lovely. The walk to the beach was relatively quick. My stay here was relaxing and the home was clean and inviting.

Nice quiet place-secluded yet close to everything.
The house was very nice and equipped with most everything we needed. Although we didn't do any cooking there are plenty of cookware and utensils. The rooms were very clean. It was perfect for a couple to get away and enjoy the serenity. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within a few minutes driving (and we ate at a different one most every day). There's a public beach entrance about 3 or 4 blocks away. We would stay here again if we came back to Nags Head.

Perfect house for couple. Very clean and comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood. Easy and quick access to Barnes street beach parking. Central location for Nags Head, trips north and south, restaurants, etc. Owner is very nice and communication easy. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time in Nags Head. This cottage was perfect! It had everything we needed for our stay and it was the perfect location to the beaches and shops. The cottage was very clean and very comfortable.

We loved this space. It was conveniently located, spacious and immaculate. We did miss having oil supplied in the kitchen, but would not keep us from seeking to stay again. Great couples retreat!

The place was very clean. There are pots and pans available for cooking as well as everything else you need. This made a great place for me to explore up and down the outer banks from, and I plan to come back soon!

A little piece of Heaven.
2nd time staying there. Peaceful and quiet. Everything you need is there for your stay. Love that at night you can hear the Ocean. Everything was clean and organized. Will definitely be back another stay.

Totally at home!
Great home in a great residential neighborhood. Our host left a list of suggestions for beaches, restaurants, places to go. The kitchen was stocked as good as my own kitchen at home! That was really appreciated as so often VRBOs just have a bare minimum in the kitchen. We had a great stay and would definitely go back!!!

Place was well kept and clean and just enough room for us, It had just about everything we needed. A note to travelers bring or get your own coffee, creamer sugar or whatever gets you thru the morning. Bring your own beach towels as none are available at this property. the iron and ironing board was a lucky find and saved the day for our special event we were there for. Oh and we got a nice little visit from a raccoon on the back porch, he was more scared of us though!

The pros: lovely quiet neighborhood, clean, a good size space Cons: A pretty early checkout by 10:00am. The Roku tv remote in the living room does not work. We finally figured out the bedroom tv late Friday night. There definitely should be tv instructions by each television. All of the towels & wash cloths smelled very moldy, only (1) washcloth and (1) towel per person for a two night stay. We ended up buying towels at Homegoods. We were required to empty the trash, start the dishwasher, strip the bed and start the clothes washer before we left. In my opinon a cleaning fee should not be charged if you are expected to do the work yourself. There wasn't anything for coffee, nothing in the refrigerator as far as condiments or water of any kind. A completely empty frig. I think a lot of owners want rental fees but do not want to provide basic amenities and services anymore. It's like you are expected to pack your entire house and bring it with you for a day and a half stay, then clean on your way out. Standards in hospitality are gone these days.
