"Perhaps be more flexible on check in time. It was drizzling n cold. We arrived at 14.10 but were not able to chk in as the staff said the room was not ready. Otherwise everything was perfect n highly recommend"

This is a traditional Japanese style place, with tatami mat rooms, nice yukata robes for guests, and a very nice indoor outdoor communal bath. I highly recommend it if you are staying in Gero Onsen, one of Japan's big three famous spas."

"We’ve just spent two wonderful nights, here, and everything has been perfect. The hotel is miles from anywhere so you either need a car or use the hotel shuttle bus to ferry you to and from the nearest station. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The highlight was the traditional Japanese meals served in a private dining area. Every course (they kept on coming) is a wonderful new ‘taste surprise’. We also hired the private Onsen, for an hour; another new experience. If you like being well looked after and being away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, this is for you!"
