The snack/continental breakfast room was lovely. Our room was divine! We were upgraded to a sea view room where we could enjoy the famous Torii gate from our window. The hotel was so quiet and serene, even as the streets outside were bustling with island visitors. This stay was a definite highlight of our time in Japan."

"Toyoko Inn in Shin-Yamaguchi is handily situated 5 minutes walk from the shinkansen lines. It is a good, basic, business hotel. There were free breakfasts."

"Clean. Rooms aren't too small like some business hotels. They will check you in when rooms are available, unlike Toyoku hotel across the street that won't check you in until 1600, Breakfast is fine"

"The hotel was near the Itsukushima Shrine, just around 5-min walk. Although it's not near the ferry port, the hotel provided a shuttle service upon arrival and departure. The staffs were so friendly and polite to us. The hotel itself felt quite historic, and as its name implies, it combines the beautiful views together, which you can see just from the window. Moreover, you can book the private onsen for a 30-minute slot. This was much better than the public bath located at the basement of the...

"Great Onsen and bedrock sauna on 9th floor and outside tub and room very good. Breakfast and dinner included buffet style not very good but it is optional, not many options nearby. Located in a residential area, high on a hill overlooking the bay so good views but not convenient."

"マルミエロテンと称する屋上露天風呂は一度は体験する価値があります。厳島を対岸に見てさえぎるものもなく夜は星空、朝は日の出を温泉につかりながら楽しめます。スタッフの対応も素晴らしく、古い施設ですが必要なところはきれいに補修・交換されていて、心づかいが嬉しいです。 最寄りのJR山陽本線 大野浦駅まで無料の送迎に対応してくれます。 注意点は周辺に食事処やコンビニがないことくらいでした。"
