Romantic Farmhouse for up to 9 People with Pool and Sea View

FARMHOUSE BIN GEMMA is an impressive county home with unique flair next to Gozo’s most beautiful beaches. It has got 4 suites and from the bright living area and kitchen upstairs lovely views towards sea and San Blas valley.
The renovated property origins from the 18th century, it’s consisting of 2 buildings, which are only rented together. The Gozitan stone used for building the house creates a friendly warm atmosphere. The house shows a lot of traditional features and the interior is in county-house-style with some antiques.
Pool with waterfall. AC only in kitchen and living room (extra costs).
MAIN BUILDING: A maritime suite with two beds and a sleep-bench and a romantic suite for two on the ground floor, both rooms with own bathroom. The rooms are connected through a spiral staircase with the living room upstairs.
ANNEX: A bedroom with kingsize four-poster-bed near the pool and a sleeping room with antique ironbed and balcony. Each bedroom has got its own bathroom and access to the garden or loggia.

Nadur is famous for it's carnival: The village of Nadur in the north of the island is the 2nd biggest on Gozo. During the time of the knights of St.George it was a hunting-ground. It’s surrounded by fertile valleys with crops of citrus and fig trees. From Nadur one has access to 3 beaches (Ramla Bay, San Blas Bay and Dahlet Qorrot. Near the big and monumental church of St. Peter and Paul in the village’s centre there are several shops, the bank, a pizzeria and restaurant, the wine bar, some pubs, a café and the police station. There is a remarkable maritime museum in Nadur, too. Nadur is famous for a special kind of dark and severe carnival. It is unique for the spontaneity and creativity of all those taking part.

Stayed in Farmhouse Bin Gemma for one week in July, the property is simply devine, much better than the website pictures. The ideal location for a peaceful relaxing getaway from the husstle and busstle of everyday life.

Lovely Farmhouse stay on Gozo
A great place for 2 families to stay. Plenty of space, very well equipped.Great views from roof terrace We hired a car allowing us to explore the island. So many beautiful areas to swim, amazing places to eat and things to do. We hired a boat from Xlendi to visit the Blue lagoon and enjoy other areas accessible only by boat. Highly recommended this farmhouse it was perfect .

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Bin Gemma! Great location, charming and relaxing. I miss my morning coffee on the roof top terrace, with the view of the ocean. And the scent of orange blossoms will forever bring me back to beautiful Gozo.

Great old farmhouse
We had a fun stay with 2 other couples. Pool was well used when we were not exploring the many fabulous coastal waters. Kitchen is very well equiped and laundry was very handy. Outdoor and indoor dining options were also good. We were sorry the week there ended so quickly.

A Dream Come True
We all absolutely loved Bin Gemma. A perfect place to stay in Gozo. My husband and I had a little bit of trouble with the stairs, with the kitchen being upstairs and potential renters should be aware of the stairs if they have leg/knee problems. Definitely needed a hire car from this destination to see Gozo but lots of walkways to enjoy and the view was magic both at night time and day time. We stayed in the middle of winter and had a wonderful time. The rest of the year would be even more marvellous. So sad to leave, definitely would recommend to any groups who want accommodation on Gozo. Plenty of room etc. An adventurous home to stay in. Our family would definitely recommend Bin Gemma to anyone wanting to enjoy a beautiful holiday on beautiful Gozo.

Zurück in die Vergangenheit
Wir waren nach 12 Jahren mal wieder auf Gozo. Insgesamt zum 6. mal (das erste mal 1995). Da wir nun nicht mehr auf die Sommerferien und die große Hitze angewiesen sind, vesuchten wir es diesmal im November. Wir hatten, bis auf ein paar Regentage, durchgehend 22-24 Grad. Auch das Wasser hatte noch angenehme Badetemperatur. Bei unserer Ankunft waren wir(zwei befreundete Pärchen) überwältigt von der Größe des Farmhauses. Jeder hatte genug Platz, sich großzügig auszubreiten. Das ganze Haus war toll eingerichtet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Ausserdem wurden wir super von Cettina betreut. Auf der Insel hat es sich bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten überhaupt nicht verändert, sodass wir uns gleich wieder gut zurecht gefunden haben. Diese Ruhe haben wir sehr genossen und werden bestimmt noch mal wiederkommen. Dann auch gerne wieder im Farmhaus Bin Gemma. Vielen Dank für alles und liebe Grüße. Familien Rebers nochnochsehangenehme Badetemperaturen.

Rustic with everything you need. Pool a godsend on hot days. Lots of steps which wld be difficult for young children or those with mobility issues who want to use kitchen/living room. Great location easy to travel round Gozo.

Super om met 3 stellen en 3 kids allemaal een eigen kamer met eigen ingang en badkamer te hebben. Prachtig gelegen met uitzicht over zee vanaf het balkon. Zeker een aanrader om naar Gozo te gaan! Het is er prachtig!

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus
Ein wunderschönes Haus im lokalen Stil, schöner Pool und Grill, viel Platz für 9 Erwachsene, viele Zimmer mit eigenem Bad, einige Zimmer mit liebevollen Details ausgestattet, sehr gute Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Alles bestens bis auf zwei Details: in der ersten Septemberwoche waren abends sehr viele Mücken unterwegs und es sollten präventiv mehr Insektenfallen gegen mediterran-typische Insekten aufgestellt werden. Die lokale Betreuerin hat dies dann nach unserem Hinweis direkt getan.

Brilliant house
We had an amazing week. We were a party of 6 and the house was big enough for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen is well-equipped, dining room has stunning views of the sea, and the bedrooms are all large. We didn’t hire a car. We walked to Johnny’s supermarket which took 10 mins. We used a combination of buses and Bolt to get around, all very easy. The pool was a bit chilly at the end of October, Ramla Bay beach is close by and well worth the effort. Cettina and Saviour are both lovely and helpful, and very happy to chat. I highly recommend this villa.

Lovely farmhouse
We stayed in farmhouse Bin Gemma for two weeks and had a great time, the farmhouse is just as you see it on the website if not better. Very spacious, nice sized pool,which we spent many a happy hour cooling down, only criticism is it could do with some air conditioning as is very hot inside at night when trying to get to sleep. Rooftop top terrace is great and had a lovely view. There is a bus stop at end of road that takes you to Victoria or beach. We walked to beach only half an hours walk, lovely beach. The town of Nadur is about 20 minutes walk, with a few restaurants and shops. The farmhouse was very clean and the housekeeper Cittena and her husband were lovely and friendly on hand if you needed them. I would definitely recommend this farmhouse.

Only issue was shopping without car but managed well small shop well stocked at end road Cleaner pool person and owner all very helpful . House lovely pool big enough to cool off in perfect for us .

Beautiful Holiday Home
The place is absolutely lovely. The house is huge and the rooms as well as the bathrooms are beautiful, tidy and well-equipped. The pool is really nice and there is plenty of space to sit outside and lay in the sun. Even though the near beaches were not super nice (just our opinion), we enjoyed our time in the farmhouse a lot. Thank you!

Super schönes Haus
Wir hatten eine unglaublich tolle Zeit in dem Haus. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern im Vorfeld war total nett und hilfreich! Auch die Ansprechpartner vor Ort waren super. Das alte Farmhaus hat unglaublich Charm und eine tolle, ruhige Lage. Für (uns) 8 Personen war sehr viel Platz vorhanden. Wir lieben diese Art von Häusern und würden es jeder Zeit wieder buchen!! Hoffentlich bald! :)

Farmhouse Bin Gemma
We rented Farmhouse Bin Gemma for a family holiday, 2 adults and 2 children. The property was most certainly big enough for a family. Was clean and tidy with plenty of towels available. The pool was a definite must and was used everyday for many hours. The property is surrounded by a wall and a lockable door, which made you feel safe. The property was about a 20 min walk into the village of Nadur, where there are several restaurants to choose from. There is a local supermarket about a 10min walk from the property, which sells everything you could need. Rambla Bay is about a 30min walk from the property. Lovely sandy beach, although slightly rocky when entering the sea. The water was like entering a bath, was glorious. There is bus stop just at the top of the road, which you can get buses to Victoria, Nadur and L’mgarr. The buses are frequent. We would definitely recommend staying at Farmhouse Bin Gemma, and would love to return in the future.

Wonderful House
We spent two weeks in this house in early September. Spacious and comfortable house with an ideal pool and large sun terrace. Lovely quiet country setting with fantastic views.

Great vacation
We were staying in Bin Gemma for a week (17-24.08.19). We are a group of friends from Poland. We were looking for a house in a friendly and beautiful area. I think we couldn’t had chosen better. The house was very adorable and fantastic. Each family had its own room with a bathroom. House was well equipped-we had everything we needed . We loved small pool, big table near for shared meals and a great view of the sea from the roof. The way to the beach lasts about 20-30 minutes. It was a bit tiring but worth the effort. We prefered Sun Blass. The caretaker was very polite and nice. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge 😀. We highly recommend this place to everyone!
