We rented the car and was very convenient for us only 5-10 minute drive to the local markets, beach and restaurants. We were very upset that the pools are unusable and full of stagnant water and algae... "Overall this was a lovely stay. The rooms are clean and modern. Beachside spa services were excellent although a bit pricey. The beach is lovely here however isn’t cleaned up daily. We were charged for breaking a glass in the room. The pools were plentiful (hot tub, small cool pool, two large pools, and a kid friendly pool). Food onsite was very good and service of the whole staff was so friendly!"

Quiet break from the city

"My first room had no safe and was not clean, considering the price in Thailand I was disappointed. Once I pointed out the safe was not operational they made two other rooms available which were better. The resort is next to the beach we’re there is resturants and a few bars. Potentially with better upkeep of the grounds and general maintenance the resort as plenty to offer there’s plenty to se around and about"

"Beautiful location right on the silky sands of Chao Lao Beach. Amazing sunsets every night. Delicious breakfasts with a wide variety of choices. The area is a bit out of the way if you don't have your own car but it's worth. You can take buses to and from Chanthaburi and taxi from there. You can borrow bicycles for free at the hotel. All of the staff seem to be very nice and helpful but of course not all can speak English. Special shout out to the manager Wiboon, who made everything perfect."

"Beautiful view from our room! Property has seen better days but loved our room at a very reasonable rate. The only thing was the gym which was poor and hardly any working machines. Pool was nice and staff are professional and accommodating. Except for gym l rate it 4 out of 5 stars "
