Cons:
-Called for 3 days straight trying to add a guest to check in because they were arriving a day earlier than me. Finally reached someone on day 3 after leaving 2 voicemails. They immediately put me on hold and then I was hung up on. This happened 5 times in a row and then they apologized and stated after a guest is on hold for 30 seconds, the phone hangs up. Really?!
-Initial room was nothing like the pictures on the booking site and the room was filthy. The front desk gave us the option to look at 2 more rooms on the floor under us. We chose the best out of the two but it was still filthy and the living room tv didn’t work. Paper behind the tv stands and very dusty. The bathroom tubs were also not cleaned well. Carpet was also not clean. When the uncleanliness was reported, they said they would take care of it and nothing happened. Appliances need to be updated and a constant smell was present.
-There was a roach, not a water bug, in the restaurant/bar.
-Only one elevator was working that would take me and my family up to our room so you could either take the stairs or wait 10 minutes for an elevator.
-When it was time to check out at 11am, I received a phone call that the promotion package purchased from their concierge department was canceled so our 2 hour later checkout was no longer active. I went down stairs to checkout and we began packing the cart and had to wait for the elevators, of course. When I returned from checking out, my family informed me that a staff member had been to the room already asking if we were checking out. Not too long later, someone bangs on the door loudly, as if it were law enforcement, and it was another staff member who presented with an attitude asking us were we leaving and when i informed her we were about to leave she walked off and paged the front desk like she was calling the “principal.” Then the front desk called the room phone and we informed them once again we were leaving. Mind you, I have an infant in the room who was asleep at the time while we were trying to get our things together.
-When i reported to the manager of the experience he took no accountability and stated that housekeeping is on a time crunch and she didn’t bang on the door like the police. I’m sorry sir, were you there? He did not apologize for the filth but stated he would ignore the late checkout. So unprofessional.
-Bigger vehicles will not fit past level 1 in parking deck.
