Let me start by saying that in over 20 years of family vacations, I've always been happy with our rooms and have never written a negative review, until now. We stayed in unit 916, the unit was definitely not the unit pictured. I would not have completed the transaction had the pictures been accurate. The floors were different, appliances different & the furniture was different, than in the photographs. What we actually got was much worse, for example the carpet looked like what you'd see in a skating rink from the 80's. The drier didn't work, tv was fine, the AC had trouble pulling humidity out of the air leaving a dankness over the whole unit. The whole room was just dingy. I will say the bedding was good and clean. Our check in was 4, we arrived at 5 and were told our room wasn't ready that they'd call us, an hour later we went to check again and the room was ready, the clerk didn't bother to notify us.
The amenities were good for the most part, the pools were great, the lazy river was awesome & I liked how they made their lawn space accessible for activities such as cornhole & tanning. The restaurant was ok, but I never saw the exterior bar open.
In closing, we were happy with the overall vacation & the location of our room, just not with the room itself, especially since someone went out of their way to post a dishonest representation of the room. VRBO you guys need to police this in order for people to feel comfortable using your service!
