Southern Breeze is one of the budget hotels right on the beach and you get what you pay for in terms of property condition and amenities. However, I really find the staff very eager to help and they seem to value you as a guest so I appreciate that.

I believe that they were doing renovations while we were there. The one and only redeeming factor for our stay was the staff. Kay and Mark were an absolute blessing in making our stay as comfortable and pleasant as it could be.

It wasn’t nothing like the pictures. No chairs at pool or lighting at night. Pool deck was dirty. Front desk people and cleaning ladies was nice. Really run down place, no bugs and the beds was great.

The place is crawling with cockroachs
The staff was very apologetic about the dirty towels that were replaced immediately. The condition of the room is quite poor and at night, the whole room was teeming with cockroachs; it made my skin crawl. Do not book as the whole place needs fumigation.

Had to stand at the front office for 30 minutes to check in cockroaches in the room room was not clean trash, laying everywhere. I would stay outside before I stayed here again.

After check-in, I saw that there was a roach in the toilet, the refrigerator in the room was dirty, the bed skirts were filthy, and it was a horrible stench through the entire hotel. Nothing looked like it was advertised!

This place is nothing like the website photos. Got there and found the rooms dirty . Wrappers, toothbrushes under the sofa cushions . Had to complain the fridge and pool was dirty balcony door was broken and no chairs . Want be back

The property was very dirty and a room was full of mold and have the things didn’t work! Like Air Conditioning and the TV and the property was full with drugs. Not a safe environment and they said it’s a family motel not true! Drugs are being run out of there and have gang people hanging around the motel. I have pictures To prove it!

Expensive, out of date, stinky, dirty, and had mold growing in bathroom. Changed rooms and the 2nd room was worse so we packed up and left and had to find another hotel to stay at. Very unhappy that a $50 a night (at most) hotel charges $165.

We left as soon as we got there, it was nasty dirty, the toilet was full and plunger in it with fence all on the the handle. People smoking weed in the parking lot, prostitutes every where. I have four small girls and my wife. So they wouldn’t refund my reservation witch I had just made ten minutes before. Total dump

This place gave a false advertisement that it looked new and the host was very unfriendly. The door to the balcony which was ground level only could be locked with a board in the track. It was a sliding door and could be accessed by anyone from the street. Sheets were filthy so we sleep on the mattress cover. That’s just to name a few. I am thankful we only had to stay one night.

It is not at all what they offer in the publication the conditions of the deplorable rooms, they delivered it after an hour and a half of waiting there was no staff at the reception it was half cleaned the wet floor and with an extreme smell of chlorine, the unsafe area Bad people come and go from the hotel and its surroundings. Please do not put this place on your site they are discrediting them I thank Expedia that they answered my call at midnight and I was able to cancel this reservation and go to another place
