We could not find a parking place. No one on duty to help. Could not park until after midnight on an off site and had to move vehicle by 9 am. No cabinet handles on bathroom cabinet and the blinds were broke. Party going on until way after 2 am. Will never stay there again.

First of all, there is no actual office. It is all virtual took 40 minutes to get our room! Once I got my room, they gave me a code. The door would not open. There was a hurricane the week before I arrived. One of the persons that were fixing things said that everything got flooded so maybe the door was swollen. When I got in the room, I sat on the sofa, and my pants were wet. My children have asthma and this room was not completely dried out. Also There was rust on the sofa, bed and no sheets or blankets. The bathroom had a lot of rust all over the place, except the toilet and the sink. The bed was full of humidity. It was disgusting. The pool was extremely dirty full of bugs and leaves. This was nothing like the pictures Yes, the rooms were a little bit upgraded, but overall they’re not safe to have kids around. They Told me that I can vacate the room and that they would send a refund after they send an inspector to inspect the room to see if everything I was saying was true. According to the inspector, everything was fine And everything was dry, which is a lie! They never refunded me the money after they told me to vacate the room. They’re just there to steal your money, they were not ready to open up again. It’s the worst place I have ever been to. And one of the employees said They were fixing doors and they were fixing gates when I got there cuz of the hurricane but when the inspector came in room there was nothing wrong.??? I don’t recommend it.

TERRIBLE PLACE/DOES NOT MATCH PICS
The place was very filthy and not organized. On our arrival we went to our room and contact customer service. We told them the rooms were messy and look as if someone had just check out. Then notified them I was very upset and that I wanted to cancel everything and a refund. They still charged the entire stay. Personally this is the worse experience ever!

Very small, old building, dain in sink didnt work very good, tv remote didnt work very good. Small cheap place to stay, the pool looked clean, i didnt use it. If cheap is what you want then this is a decent place. I will definitely spend a little extra next time for a room with a beach view. Live and learn.

I am not sure where are all the glowing reviews are coming from, but I cannot imagine they are coming from experienced and/or privileged travelers. I chose this location AT THE VERY last minute due to the location and because the pictures and description and reviews painted a very pretty picture. I was really inclined to use my status as a Hilton Honors member at a nearby Hilton property, but since my friends wanted to experience MYR I thought a taste of nostalgia would be nice since we’d be so close to the boardwalk anyway. and so I chose this obviously revamped property. Upon arrival, the property and room looked NOTHING like it did jn the pictures online. Even the location looked suspect. Once we reviewed the room, my friends immediately asked if we could get a refund. (We had just left a 5 star riverfront hotel in SAV that cost less per night.) The Hotels app staff was great and very empathetic; however the owners refused to honor our request. We were stuck. We ended up spending most of our time away from the room because of how uncomfortable it was—from its guests, to the fake beds, cheap linens, loud WINDOW UNITS, etc. I’ll add that upon sharing my experience, this is becoming the norm in MYR at these revamped mom & pop locations; this is sad because some of us grew up going to these locales and the original owners would’ve never cheated their customers.

The property was overall a nice place to just stay because it was a business visit for me. The air conditioner is positioned over the bed so you hear that noise all night. The room floor was very dirty and some of the white washcloths were dingy and fill with lint. I was afraid to wash with them because they were not clean white.

This was perfect for an extended weekend getaway. The room was small, however, perfect for my partner and I who were very comfortable. A five minute walk to the Skywheel and other attractions. The beach access was directly across the street (as well as a Starbucks). I would definitely stay here again, the room was a great price!

We had difficulty getting into our room as the code wasn’t working. We tried calling and texting management for close to 30 minutes before they responded. Eventually they moved us into another room. When we entered the room it was very tidy and clean. It was also spacious. We enjoyed our stay the door doesn’t have space around it allowing for noise during the night. Otherwise we would say you are getting what you pay for.

Upon arrival to the property, we walked into the room and everything was soaking wet, there was a broken outlet, and black cigarette residue dripping down the door on both the inside and outside. Our door was not aligned which meant we had to slam into it to get it open or closed. There was no second safety lock on the door, there were blood curdling screams coming from the property along with loud bangs. As advertised there is no office or staff working the property, despite the phone numbers they have on the doors the likelihood of getting ahold of anyone is very low. Our stay was Monday-Friday, Monday we took showers and realized there was no hot water. We contacted the staff Monday night and were informed maintenance were coming to check out the water Tuesday night around 7pm (had no hot water our whole trip).The rooms are opened by keypad, on Wednesday when leaving the room we realized our keypad was completely dead and we were locked out of our room. After sending a message to the office staff at 12:15pm informing them of the issue we continued our day, upon arrival back to our room around 5pm we still had not heard back from the staff and had to google translate with the cleaning staff to try to figure something out, who then gave us a physical key. I received a text at 5:57pm asking if anyone had come to assist, in this text I explained what we had to do to get it figured out and again told them we still did not have hot water, no response.

I was very disappointed but never again they people having done things in pool that wasn't inappropriate in pool and table for smoking was nasty so i want to my car drove to smoke i will never stay there again ......cleaning .....no towels was changed compact one window for ....it was joke t..very nasty place....sorry i have deleted language but not giving you and good view ....

Could not even stay here after seeing the room. it is false advertisement in the pictures and i was tricked due to some of the 5 star reviews. right before i saw the location in person, they told me to leave a 5 star rating in order to get free early check in. i thought it was odd but didnt expect anything other than what i saw online. when i got here it was so dirty and there’s no front desk to help. you have to call them over and over for hours to get any response. the room was dirty and small; there was urine outside the stairs to walk up to the rooms, took them forever to give me a code to go in the room and it wouldn’t work for the first room so they decided to give me a different room with two different codes, once i got in the room i booked a different location right away. i couldn’t stay here. the door didn’t even properly lock. my uber driver said the area is super unsafe. it was dirty, ac didn’t work. i left right away. not to mention all of the bad reviews say exactly what i experienced too. don’t be tricked by the 5 star reviews. they’re fake.

There were some damages prior to our stay and we needed to contact maintenance twice because of room errors. However located right downtown so it was easy access to the ocean and downtown! Overall, after the issues were fixed it was a nice stay!
