Well appointed unit on noisy pool side of property
Overall, this is a comfortable and well stocked unit right on the beach. We were very much looking forward to hearing the waves day and night from this unit. And we could until the evening hours brought out very loud groups down at the pool. This unit overlooked the pool, so the noise level was loud well into the night. There was no posted closing time at the pool, so the yelling and screaming lasted until towards midnight on the weekend nights were were booked here. The pool noise did calm down on weekday nights, fyi.
The only other issue we had was a very poorly draining bathtub. With the low-flow shower head, I had to stand in the shower much longer than normal to completely rinse my hair out. And with that said, the 4 inches of water I was standing in was disturbing since backflow from the drain was coming up. We had to re-wash our feet once out of the tub.
This is a huge high rise, so it's very busy in the building, parking and elevator areas. It's the perfect setup for loud guests, unfortunately.
