This was a good property for our stay for the beach, pool, and location. The issues were with disabled persons accessing any area in the resort. The parking was atrocious due to attempting to unload a disabled passenger with no area to do so. Everyone was trying to access the lot at the same time for check in so a slow disabled, elderly person was not a friendly welcome. The parking garage was full of oversized vehicles, so parking 1/4 mile down the road was not acceptable for walking back to the property. The ramp to the pool area was not accessible because the wheelchair would not fit through the doorway. The only wide doorway had stairs! The boardwalk to the beach had only stairs! Not disability friendly!!
The staff was accommodating, the rooms were clean, ( rented 2). Disabled room would not accommodate a wheelchair, and it was the 19th floor! (Pray for no fire alarms!) There were never enough towels to exchange, glad we took our own. All needed kitchen ware was avail, except a blender.
We enjoyed our stay (the abled persons), the disabled person was stuck in the room :(
There were fun activities for children, the bar was nice, there was only one hateful bartender, I think he only liked big spenders... kids were supposed to be able to get fountain drinks filled for purchasing the resort cup, he was the only one who had a problem with serving them!
I only gave 3star rate due to kid activities and cleanliness and most staff were pleasant.
