This property is a Myrtle Beach landmark and features an expansive pool deck with indoor and outdoor pools. On-site you will find the Ground Floor Cafe, proudly serving Starbucks and sweet treats. Indigo Coastal Kitchen on the second floor is open for breakfast and dinner. Hours vary by season. During our warmest months, we open our pool bar during our warmest months and schedule live entertainment on the pool deck. Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Our guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.

Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation, and additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites. Children'sen’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more! Additionally, we host an annual Wine & Cheese reception with giveaways at both Patricia Grand and Bay Watch in mid-February.This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC.

Nice hotel for a good price
We loved our stay at the Patricia Grand. Wonderful view of the pool and the ocean, cute little gift shop/store, enjoyed the Starbucks cafe on the first floor, handy snack/soda and ice machines on different floors, cold air conditioning, and comfy beds.

Hotel is nice, has all the kitchen amenities if you plan on cooking. The pools, hot tub and lazy river were clean. Smoking is everywhere on this premises even though they say it's not allowed.

Most guest respect the rules however the elevators are not equipped with fans so the service is a long wait and hot ride. The best part of the resort was the beach and pool area never too crowded even though it was small. The lazy river could be larger.

Why a three?
Toilet runs continuously. Went to grab a plate and all were soaking wet. Odd stains on bedding… may be grease??? So much cigarette and weed smoking on all the other balconies … had to come in and close the door. Bathroom towels felt cheap and rough. On average not the best weekend getaway. The air conditioner is old, while sitting on the balcony it blows hot air at your back!

The room was not very clean at all, floor was greasy, inches of dust on the kitchen appliances, door lock on the screen door was broke and ceiling pieces were falling everywhere. We had to ask for new towels everyday because they would not give us more than the amount of people we had. We asked for wash cloths and was told they didn’t have any.

Our ceiling kept falling all over our stuff, clothes, shoes, bed, in my coffee cup. When we first arrived within 5 minutes i let front desk know about issue, maintenance even came up and checked it out. No other room was available, only option was to have them come in and fully scrape it which would have been an inconvenience to everyone. Communication was horrible, the elevator smelled like dog poop and communication with staff was them trying to hurry up and get me out of their faces when i was very polite the whole time. I feel like i wasted over 800 dollars on this room. But i did receive 81 dollars back as a convenience fee but that is basically nothing. I will not be staying at this location again.

I enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean while reflecting on life. My son enjoyed the beach and the pool. It was great having Starbucks each morning! I would highly recommend this property for a gateway.

Great view!
View was amazing! I’m afraid of heights so I would have preferred to be a little lower than the 15th floor but it couldn’t be helped. Hotel has a few things that need fixing but location can’t be beat. Dog friendly was a big plus!!
