"Apartment is very homely and had everything you could need for the perfect holiday. Pool area very clean and peaceful. The town is easily accessable being a 10min walk, where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. A small supermarket close to the property has everything you require including fresh bread daily. Contact with host was easy and although we didn't require help there were contact numbers for any neccessity. Our third visit to Crete and yet again we were not disappointed and will...

"Nice, clean, comfortable apartment in a fabulous location. Having access to the shared garden overlooking the sea is also a big bonus and the views (and sunsets) are spectacular. There’s a slightly odd arrangement with the sunloungers around the pool (two are allocated for the villa but they are not labelled and all the other pool sunloungers are locked away, which meant several awkward conversations with other people using them and for a couple of days they went missing entirely...) but apart...

"Wir waren für 14 Tage in der Wohnung. Durch die Lage am Ortsrand war es sowohl ruhig, als auch nah genug am Ortskern mit seinen Tavernen und Supermärkten, sowie den Bushaltestellen. Bei egal welchen Problemen und Fragen, auch wenn sie nichts mit der Wohnung zu tun hatten, war Elena eine zuverlässige und freundliche Ansprechpartnerin. Wir würden wieder hier übernachten."

"The apartment was Perfect. We loved our view. It's so worth it here. At night they close off the streets and they fill up with tables & chairs. This little village has everything you need within walking distance. Love that the office people are their during the day. They love cats 🐈. We do tooooo.. stairs were hard for me, bad knee but I did it. Loved the 3rd floor"

"Beautiful property! Peaceful feeling. Breakfast and Dinner included. Food was amazing. Service was great. The staff was amazing and fun! Only down side was many of the amenities in the kitchen area did not work. For example the tea kettle didn't work and the fridge shut off when the key was removed for the electric. "

"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."
