"Accommodation is in well furnished self catering or modern rooms. This is not a hotel. Access and parking is convoluted and is not ideal for those with mobility problems. Rooms are accessed via a staircase. Room to room noise is evident and Saturday night is lively across the road until midnight. Breakfast is served at the 1176 restaurant and is very good with friendly staff and good locally sourced ingredients. There is nearby street parking for blue badge holders but would not recommend...

"Very good communication prior to stay- very accurate directions and we found the Cart House very easily. Lovely welcome from owner, plus Charli, the dog. Really appreciated the welcome gifts and the card. Lovely touch. Accommodation was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed plus much more. Very comfortable bed. Fantastic views, peaceful. Had a very relaxing stay. Thank you "

"Very clean and well appointed. Everything we needed, only thing we didn't find was a corkscrew ! Plenty of room, nice big kitchen.Only downside was the double bed which had an uncomfortable mattress, otherwise all perfect an uncomfortable mattressmamattress"
