"We stayed here for one night in a triple, which looked just like in the pictures. The room was fairly sparse with three twin beds, a tiny table and three stools, and a wardrobe. We came during the off-season when there were very few people in the hotel, so we had our hallway to ourselves. Each hallway is named after a different European country, with the individual rooms named after major cities, which fits into the theme of the European guesthouse. "Very friendly welcoming we arrived on a day when the the staff had a day off and the restaurant and bar was closed breakfast was excellent and staff friendly."

"We stayed here on Christmas night through the weekend specifically to go snowboarding. We were able to leave our car and ride the bus(bus stop directly in front of house) and back. Very easy! Owners were very sweet and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast was good too! "

"Freundlich. sauber, Frühstück tip-top. Zimmer zur Straße etwas lärmig. Nur die Ankunft gestaltete sich schwierig, da wir gemäß schriftlicher Bestätigung um 1500 Uhr hätten Einchecken können, standen wir vor verschlossener Türe. Das Hotel öffnet am Wochenende erst ab 1700 Uhr!"

"An der Anzeigetafel stand, dass wir ein Cafe Venezia suchen mussten doch es war keiner in der Nähe. Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass es die Strasse weiter oben ein Restaurant Rauchklang hatte und dort mussten wir den Schlüssel holen. Bis wir dies aber herausgefunden haben war sehr umständlich. Als ich auf die Nummer anrief hat der Herr am Telefon nur gesagt, dass wir die Strasse hinauffahren mussten und einfach der Strasse entlang, nicht in wlches Haus oder Restaurant.. Das Zimmer war genug um...

"Overall we enjoy the stay very much. We used the sauna and pool which are in great conditions. The room is very large and has all necessary things. The only problem was the parking. There weren't enough places and people parked on the electrical chargers so we couldn't use them"

"The cottage was charming and clean and faced a lovely view. There is a walking trail just out front and it was quiet and peaceful. We ate breakfast on the outside patio every morning. It’s close to amenities and we will definitely return. Highly recommend!"

Perfect location

"The hotel is in the perfect location - near to the train station and the city centre. Our room was a good size, bed was comfy, and there was a kettle for making tea and coffee, which was great. The only downside to our trip was the swimming pool and sauna were closed for renovations...and we had booked the hotel especially to use those facilities. "

"La Maison Suisse - Döttingen offers remarkable, personalized service from beautiful rooms, pillows, and a sumptuous mattress. I was incredibly impressed by the attention to detail and attentiveness of all staff. Not only do I recommend this excellent hotel to anyone visiting Döttingen but I am already planning my return."
