"We loved our stay at Passo dei Briganti! It's about 8 minutes by car from the Valley of the Temples, and about 15 minutes to San Leone beach. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and had a nice assortment of savory items and pastries, but the real star is dinner. We ordered two amazing fish dishes, plus roasted vegetables from their garden and a salad of red and green tomatoes, and then when we saw a pesto white pizza among their pizza offerings, we had to get one of those, too. "We absolutely loved our stay at Baglio lauria. The room was absolutely beautiful, the shower had amazing pressure and space and the grounds are absolutely stunning. You are surrounded by olive trees, fig trees, almonds and cacti that are just breathtaking. A true retreat. You must take a tour of Tenute Camilerri (vineyard) while you are there. Would definitely come back. Special thanks to Dario for taking care of us and making sure everything was perfect. "

"I was not happy about the place as it failed when attempting to check-in. 1st) check-in is listed as 3PM, so I arrived slightly after 3PM and no one was at the place to allow check-in. 2nd) They only communicated thru Hotels.com app and I couldn'tr check in till 6PM. 3rd) The room's AC only works when you insert their key, but when you leave for dinner, the AC turns off (not smart when temps were very high 4th) at check-in, we were told breakfast was no included despite it saying on Hotels.com...

"Loved the villa type atmosphere with a very home-y staff. Very family oriented and unique. B, L & D meals were all prepared by a family of cooks (“the Mamas”) and truly fabulous tasting. Only spent 1 day there and wish we spent 2-3 days. A/C could have been colder as we were there during a 93F temps with very high humidity. But they have a pool in the back and a plunge pool in front. Great for a cigar outside at night. Would definitely go back and highly recommend this warm & friendly...

I did feel like their website and marketing photos were a little misleading, once I arrived because it is a very small operation with only a couple of rooms.
