"No restaurant even though still advertising as available Hotel is literally miles from nearest restaurant on mountainous roads with no lighting. We arrived after a long journey tired and hungry, only to be told nearest restaurant was 9 miles away. We paid for breakfast included and received a long life croissant an apple and orange on first morning, thereafter NOTHING There was no heating, in January and hence sheets were damp. We couldn’t wait to leave "

Breakfast was prepared and delivered to our room every day. The homemade pastries were delicious! The beach and city center are within 5min driving distance from the BnB. Villa Il Barone will be our first choice if we plan to return to Tropea. My only recommendation is to provide an iron in the room or to borrow for a short period. "
