"Lyrebird cottages was set in a lovely tranquil location, Silver Wattle cottage was clean and comfortable. The breakfast provisions (eggs, bacon, bread, cereal, butter, jam, milk, juice) were great and the owners provided excellent information prior to/during our stay. We were fortunate enough to see the Autumn leaves, pick chestnuts from the property and see a few lyrebirds as well. I would definitely recommend Lyrebird cottages for a weekend away!"

"We booked the cottage for our friends as a joint gift/getaway for their 40th birthdays. Management were really accommodating, letting us get there before check-in and setup nibbles, hampers and some special goodies before our friends arrived. The photos do not do the property justice, it is much bigger than it looks, backs onto paddocks and a small creek and the bathroom is very luxurious. Highly recommend"

"Wombats. That's the review. I'm not sure how to make this easier for everyone but there are wonderful wombats around the property. They come right up to the accommodation. They LOVE eating the chestnuts that fall off the surrounding trees in autumn/winter. Best times are early evening after dark until about 9pm and then sporadically until about 4am. There is at least two that visit the property: - One very big, lovely wom-chonker. Shiny coat with excellent wombooty. This Wombat doesn't...

"Fantastic everything - location, accommodation and surrounding property, and hosts. Highly recommend for family or friend groups, loved that there was a couple camp chairs to take to vineyard concert we attended (above and beyond). Will absolutely stay again and for longer as soon as we can."

"We felt so inspired by our stay in this secluded, poetic cottage. All our needs were so thoughtfully catered for, and we loved all the details and decor. It’s only a short drive to waterfall walks with lyrical lyrebirds. Nearby, there’s pub and cafe with excellent fare. We were definitely smitten, and hope to stay another day (perhaps to write or draw a modest masterpiece or two…!)"
