If you just need a one bedroom oceanfront condo but don't want to feel like you're staying in a phone booth, here's the choice for you. This spacious Waters Edge one bedroom has the same size living area as two and three bedroom units, along with two full bathrooms. From the ninth floor, the view is spectacular, spot the dolphins from the balcony or the sofa. Every vacation day begins and ends with the beauty of blue sky and golden sand and the soothing sound of ocean waves that you will enjoy from comfortable furnishings.

Waters Edge is a premium condo resort. There are large indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a hot tub, exercise facilities, a lounge, restaurant and convenience store, all on the premises. The elevator from the lobby provides excellent handicapped access. When you're ready to feel the soft warm sand between your toes, the Garden City beach is right out from the lobby.

The bedroom has a king size bed and a private bathroom. The sofa in the living room converts to queen size bed. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, toaster, small appliances, pots, and pans. Dishes, glassware, and tableware are on hand. Linens are provided, beds will be made, some soap, paper towels and trash bags will be on hand. You will not begin your vacation by making beds or running to the store to get toilet paper!

Garden City is perfect for a family vacation or romantic getaway, away from the traffic and crowds, but still a short drive to attractions and over 100 golf courses. The Garden City Beach pier, restaurants and shops are .7 of a mile south from Waters Edge. The Surfside Beach pier, restaurants, bars, and shopping are a short drive (or a pleasant, longer walk) north. Just a few minutes south is the Murrells Inlet Restaurant Row, "the Seafood Capital of South Carolina". Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. All the attractions, dining and shopping of Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand, and the Myrtle Beach downtown boardwalk are just a bit further north. For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world's largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden. It's just a few minutes south.

The person renting this property must be at least 25 years old, have a valid credit card, and be present for the entire rental. Per HOA rules, we can provide ONE parking pass with this unit. This complex has an enclosed parking garage - OVERSIZE TRUCKS WILL NOT FIT IN THE PARKING GARAGE.

This condo is well furnished. Kitchen has a good supply of dinner, drink, & cookware. Great view from the balcony. Could use some dish towels & rags. As for the building itself, it only had one working elevator so sometimes the wait was quite long - being on the 9th floor, we didn't really want to be using the stairs.

The location is perfect for beach days and close to restaurants, supermarkets and walmart. The apartment is bright an large. You get a beautiful view of the water from the kitchen all the way to the balcony. Checking was quick and simple and Mandy was great. Would definately stay at Waters Edge again!

Awesome place right on the beach with awesome views. Stayed a week there spending most of the day on the beach and then walking down to the pier for music and more drinks. Wrapped up each night at the Rising Tides bar on the first floor - dirt cheap beer and great conversation. The only bit of feedback I'd give is that the check-in process required us stop at the management company's office only for us to get a packet with the code for the door written on it. This could've been easily shared via email/text saving us the extra Uber fair.

Very clean. Sofa bed is old and needs to be replaced. Not comfortable at all. AC not real cool and toilet in hall whistled when flushed. Would definitely stay there again with the improvements listed above. Had a wonderful time. I/Trip staff we’re wonderful.

Relaxing Getaway
This was such a delightful few days. Hubby and I were so happy with the location. The view was spectacular. Be sure to rise early enough to see the sunrise. It is so worth it. The unit was just as pictured. Everything you need. The only issue we had was with the TV. The balcony was such a nice place to begin and end our day. Overall, we had an amazing time at this oceanfront unit. It was clean, set up nicely and offered all your basic needs. The bed was definitely outdated and we struggled to get used to it. The shower pressure was very weak, but to no fault of the owners, merely circumstantial with that environment. The views were amazing, i am now searching for that chair that is in living room area, i loved it! Thank you for providing such a nice place that felt like our own for our stay! The Millers

The oceanfront view was amazing, but the condo itself? Not so much. Decor was very outdated, the couch is just gross and the place needs a deep cleaning overall. For the nightly rate charged, this place needs a face lift.

Summer 2023
The unit was very nice and clean, but they were still working on the outside area from the last hurricane. This meant that the two handicapped women I was with had to walk a much much longer distance to the beach with canes. If we had known this, we would have stayed somewhere else. It is going to be really nice when it is complete.

Understanding but not thrilled
We just arrived at itrips to check in, after I had confirmed with the host yesterday that we would be arriving today. When we got to itrips, we were informed that we would be unable to access the rental, as DOT had shut down access due to the storm. We were not informed until we arrived at itrips. We were fortunately able to book a Hampton inn at a premium. I’m incredibly upset that we were not informed in advance and do not know what we would have done if we couldn’t get the hotel.
