Amazing Trip!!
Our family spent Spring Break here. The views are stunning and the cabin is beautiful. We enjoyed playing pool and cornhole then relaxing in the hot tub! Thank you so much for having us!

Spectacular views!
I don't think the pictures do the views justice. These views are amazing. The property management company does a great job responding to questions. There is lots to do at the cabin and also in the town of Murphy which is a short drive away. I highly recommend this property.

View was great, the drive up the mountain wasn't to bad. Not far from Murphy to get to stores and other things. Amenities are basically everything you can ask for.Only complaints we have would be the smoker/grill needs to be replaced as it can't get fully hot. The master bed wasn't great. Otherwise the house was wonderful and the bed was not the worst. Dealing with the scorpions was new for us but nothing you can do about that and wasn't bad.

Beautiful cabin!!
We’ve been coming up to the NC, GA area for over ten years and this was our favorite cabin. It was SO clean and beautiful. The views were amazing from every window. Having fireplaces in each room was huge. We left the heat off and just used the fireplaces. Hot tub was perfect too! We will be back.

Perfect Vacation
This was our second stay, and we are already planning our next trip.The house is secluded and extremely peaceful. There are many things to do in the area, but you can also have a great experience just staying at the house. There are amazing views. The game room offers lots of fun activities. We also enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The sunrises were stunning.We highly recommend this beautiful location. You won't be disappointed as every little detail is perfect.

This property has three levels and all three have stunning mountain views. Will definitely be coming back! I love to explore on vacation but this place was so nice I spent 24 hours relaxing.

Amazing Cabin!
The home is in immaculate condition. The newer contemporary finishes on the interior, combined with the natural wood cabin look, makes for a great complementary overall feel. We can't stress enough how beautiful the views are from every balcony on this home. Top it all off with secluded privacy surrounded by nature with no neighbors, makes it a very quiet and peaceful retreat! My wife and I have stayed at this property several times now. And leave already planned to come back again next year. The owner/property manager is very responsive, kind and attentive. We appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail with how clean the home was! Thanks again for an amazing trip!

A Slice of Heaven
We went for my husband's birthday weekend and it was fabulous! The views were spectacular, the attention to detail was thoughtful-it had everything we needed. We cooked 3 nice meals and as a foody-the kitchen is well stocked. It's a short drive to downtown Murphy-we went to the farmers market, went shopping, and enjoyed lunch at Chevelle's. There is something for everyone here. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home on top of a mountain.

Beautiful cabin, stunning views.
This was our second time staying at Secluded Sunrise. The cabin is perfect; From the view, the decor, and the fact that the kitchen is well stocked. We rent a lot of vacation homes, and that is one thing that really stood out to me. The owners have done so well with this cabin that we genuinely felt at home, and because of that we will likely book year after year.The view from the hot tub is probably my favorite part of the cabin, but there's so much to enjoy. We always bring our pup along with us, and she was quite fond of napping in front of the fireplace. Lastly, the cabin was extremely clean. There were bugs of course, but that really can't be avoided this time of year.

We rented just for a little R&R in the mountains, and it was amazing. Our only complaint was the heating system was difficult to keep on. It dropped super cold at night. However, the view was amazing and we would definitely return during any season!

Beautiful Home with Great Views & Amenities
This home is beautiful! We had a few hiccups which I will detail below. We are pretty easy going people so no major problems for us & the pros definitely outweighed the cons. The home is new, plenty of room and is stocked with games, cards, a pool table, & hot tub. Tons of extra towels. Comfortable blankets to sit on the couches with and relax. Kitchen is stocked with a coffee maker (not keurig), crock pot, cookie sheets, pans, mixing bowls, silverware, plenty of plates, cups, etc. Plenty of knives, grilling utensils. The traeger was a little dirty but they have pellets on site and it was a nice perk. The house was very warm and inviting. Nicely styled. The hot tub was great. WiFi was great in the house - my kids had no issues and relied on WiFi for tablets, etc. The place is secluded for sure, seems like you are up there all alone which is exactly what we wanted. Things that could be better: 1) The beds are very firm. The king bed upstairs didn't seem super stable. Very squeeky and we had to fix the supports under the bed before we even slept in it. Sheets kept slipping off mattress. 2) The water heater was not working when we got there. We had to call the property mgr and owner who both responded promptly but did not know how to fix. They were going to send an electrician/plumber out but my husband fixed it. The GFCI outlet in basement (or outside) was tripped - so if it happens to you look for a tripped outlet in basement or outside. 3) There was a TON of dead lady bugs all over the floors when we arrived. Like it hadn't been pre-cleaned for our arrival. There were lady bugs and stink bugs flying around all rooms as well. I know it is winter and they were looking for somewhere warm to go...but we have stayed in plenty of cabins in the NC mountains and haven't had this type of bug problem. There is bug spray in the house, but there were so many that it didn't make a big impact. 4) There were 2 cute little mice in the downstairs area. Again, it's winter and they wanted somewhere warm...not a big deal for us but just an FYI. Overall a great place. We'll keep it on our list of cabins to visit. Would love it if they would put a wood burning fire pit out back so we could be a little more outdoorsy! Appreciated the owner and property managers responsiveness but there usually isn't much that can be done quickly in these situations. The views and amenities made it a great weekend.

Gorgeous
Our stay was amazing and God's flashlight waking us up to an amazing view. We did not see any wildlife thought. I thought we would at least see some deer. Oh well! We can see those anytime. There only one draw back though, we had a large influx of Japanese beetles and rather large black spiders crawling through the cracks in doors and could not keep up, with keeping them out. Other than that we had a great stay.

Beautiful Views and Relaxation
My husband and I rented this cabin for our anniversary. We take a trip each year and this is by far our favorite cabin thus far. The views are phenomenal and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in our other cabins. The guest contacts were prompt with replies when I reached out and were willing to provide great recommendations. We spent most of our time enjoying the peace away from the city.

Our Own ‘Yellowstone’ Escape!!
This amazing mountain cabin getaway over exceeded our expectations and more. We must have played 50 games of pool and used the hot tub every day! The views were so breathtaking that pictures just can’t do it justice. Don’t worry if you want to go when the weather is chillier! Just bundle up with a good book by one of the many fireplaces! I have shared this listing with all my family and friends. I hope you enjoy it as much as my boyfriend and I did. Thank you for being our “Yellowstone” retreat! (We love the new show Yellowstone and it inspired this trip).
