"Nous avons été surpris en très bien. C'est le premier hôtel de l'ile mais encore le meilleur à ce jour. Nous l'affirmons après avoir visité d'autres hôtels de grands groupes hoteliers sur place. Sa situation en bordure de mer dans la petite ville de Santa Maria font qu'il possède un emplacement idéal pour tout type de séjour. C'est très sûr, vraiment propre, il y a beaucoup de charme, la nourriture est excellente, le personnel est efficace et vraiment gentil. Ne cherchez pas ailleurs , cet établissement est une perle. Sur les quatre îles que nous avons visité dans cet archipel, c'est le meilleur établissement dans lequel nous avons séjourné."

"We had an incredible 12-day stay at Hotel Buddha beach in Cape Verde! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and outstanding service. The hotel was impeccably clean, with our room being tidied up perfectly every day. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always friendly and accommodating to our needs. The location was perfect, offering beautiful views and easy access to local attractions. The amenities were top-notch, and the food was delicious with a variety of options to suit all tastes. "When we arrived we were asked to pay again even though we had paid in advance. I had to prove that I had paid in advance. When the man gave us our key to the room he just told us what room number with no directions. We walked around the hotel looking for our room for 15 mins before going to ask where it was and even then he just pointed in a direction and left us to find it ourselves. The bathroom door handle was falling off, the bed was not made so we had to locate the sheets and pillows and make it ourselves. When we checked out there weee different people behind the counter who then tried to charge us again for the room. I again had to prove I had paid in full. We would not stay here again and wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. We were glad it was just one night."

"Our room has no ac and took two days for them to come and check. They wanted to downgrade our room to another room that had ac which wasn’t as good either"

"The hotel was absolutely beautiful, our room was modern and clean and very comfortable. The bed was a dream. Staff was super friendly and the all inclusive buffet was excellent with a huge variety for all meals and also possibility to grill your own meat or fish. It was one of the best holidays we ever had! The beach is very close and gorgeous with plenty of chairs available and a gorgeous palm grove to get out of the sun a bit. In summary, we had an amazing stay at Riu Cabo Verde and would definitely recommend it and book here again! Thank you!"
