"The desk clerks at the hotel were excellent particularly Alex who did whatever she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We also enjoyed the food and the service in the dining room. We were very disappointed to find that there was no fridge in the room--the only hotel of the 11 on our trip. We could store things in their fridge but that is not the same. "The room was not huge, but clean with a comfortable bed. Reception was polite and very easy.. The hotel looks kind of isolated when you arrive, but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants within 200 to 600 meters in pretty much any direction. The hotel is very nice and Bastia was a really fun place."

"Great access to lovely beach, although it does shelve quite steeply so not so suitable for small children. Beach faces west so lovely sunsets. Chalets are adequate. Much nicer than mobile homes/caravans, although they are fairly basic. Unfortunately the kitchens do not have either an oven or kettle although this is not uncommon. However, overall it was a disappointing experience for a 5* hotel, as it simply was not a 5* experience; same breakfast every day and often running out of items, tapas restaurant was very poor value for money with insufficient staff to run it, no pool service or extra pool towels available, you need a car as there is no beach access and no regular shuttle service, also at the beach there are no beds arranged for hotel guests. "Clean property, very nice staff, location is right next to busy street and train tracks in an industrial area. Nice roof top pool. Dining at driving distance. Good for stay to visit Bastia or prior to departure on ferries leaving from Bastia in early morning."
