"This house is just a wow from top to bottom. The house itself just oozes history and has been maintained, decorated and updated in a completely sympathetic manner. We were a family of 6 (should have been 7 but there was no issue with changes at the last minute) All the rooms were a good size for the whole family, large well equipped kitchen and upstairs salon. "Villa was lovely, very clean with lots of quirky bits to it. Lots of winding steps to bedrooms so not good if you have mobility issues. Only downside was only a small amount of sun by pool (possibly because we went in September) it may be different in earlier months. Although lots of sun on upper terrace, it was nice to have an outdoor shower so easy to cool off. Unfortunately while we were there a lot of dog barking from nearby which was frustrating at times. "A well needed break for the family, including a 7 & 4 year olds, who enjoyed dragging us into the lovely pool each morning. Raymond’s villa lived up to expectations, from the minute I opened the entrance door, seeing the pool to walking inside with my son to run around selecting one of the three ample bedrooms. We opted for the one downstairs as we could get to the pool first. All had their own en suite, and beds were comfortable too. The property is set in a great location for both exploring...
