"We were nervous arriving at this hotel as some reviews were horrific! We were delighted to find that the room and en-suite bathroom were absolutely spotless. Yes, the stairs are a bit grubby and *very* steep but so were every other stairs we came across in Amsterdam. Yes, the beds are probably narrower and closer together than some other hotels, but they were absolutely clean and combined with the fantastic location we were delighted at this find. "I stayed in the hostel portion of the hotel/hostel. Just be mindful that they have a cash preferred 10€ keyfob rental 10€ umbrella rental Communal washroom / shower per floor. Decent amount of electrical plugs & lockers in the rooms. "

"It is shared accommodations, and you should pack your own set of bed sheets, blanket cover, and pillow case. Probably better suited to a longer stay. A nice place to meet other travelers. Breakfast was nice. The proprietor is agreeable and welcoming."
