Blue Jay Vista - beautiful getaway

Let your troubles melt away in this fantastic private Chalet with views from every window! Easy drive to Flagstaff and Sedona from this location. Perfect for a romantic getaway for 2 or family get together. 1900 sq feet 3 bedroom plus loft, 2 full bathrooms(one upstairs and one downstairs). (Master Suite with King bed plus loft with foldout sleeping mat upstairs) 2 bedrooms downstairs (2 twins and queen bed). Sleeps up to 8 people. Guest who bring more than 8 people without permission in writing may be subject to extra charges or eviction. Large wrap around deck with gas grill. Large wood burning fireplace, outside Conversation/Fire Pit. WiFi and Hulu tv with premium channels.
Kitchen stocked with pots, pans, dishes and spices. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Bring your own food and firewood for the fireplace.
Home has central air conditioning and heat.
Bird Watch from our deck - see Woodpeckers and if you are lucky a blue jay.

Homes in this area are on 1 acre or larger lots so your views are of pine trees instead of other houses.

Close to Flagstaff. Also enjoy a visit to nearby Sedona (30 minutes away) and a day trip to the Grand Canyon from this Cabin.

Christmas Cabin
My wife and I and a great Christmas with our kids. There was a decorated Christmas tree up for us to enjoy upon our arrival. The cabin comfy and cozy. Great fireplace and patio deck too. We had a wonderful stay and will be back again!

The outdoors of the property are awesome, great patio with a grill and a separate fire pit. The second floor is upgraded and the kitchen has nice new appliances. Really the areas that could have made the stay even better is the cleaning crew cleaning the dog hair better off the furniture and some of the bedding, some minor spider webs, and if there was a tea/hot water kettle. Overall a pleasant stay.

Winter Wonderland
Excellent stay during a week with plentiful snow. When we stayed in the cabin, we enjoyed the fireplace, made hearty soups, and enjoyed the fantastic views of snow falling in the forest below.

We had a wonderful stay over the week of Christmas. The cabin is in a great location and it feels like you’re staying in a treehouse! The kitchen had a nice assortment of pots and pans to accommodate our big holiday meals and the huge couch was the perfect cozy spot to relax and watch some great football. We can’t recommend this place enough!!

I stayed here with my two kids and our dog. Gorgeous private location albeit on a somewhat busy road. Other than road noise this was a great place. We loved staying here. Kitchen had everything we needed plus some. Very accommodating host!

Nice winter retreat
20 minute easy drive to Flagstaff. This is a nice neighborhood but some road noise. The house is very charming and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire place and fire pit for our winter stay. It is a wooded lot and the big windows looking out back were great when we wanted to stay warm inside.

Great Place for Friends and Family
We were looking for a place for both friends and family to escape from the summer Valley heat. This was the best choice we could have made! Nestled in the pines, we spent most of our time on the large deck enjoying cool temp, blue skies and really tall pines. Really couldn't see other homes. All the inside rooms were a very good size with comfortable (!) furniture. It also had the best-appointed kitchen I've experienced! The host was very responsive to our questions. We'll be back!

Perfectly Named!
We had an amazing time at the cabin!! In our 7 day stay, we, as a family, voted on two days of rest and relaxation. We were able to experience our first snowfall along with a few others at the cabin which is huge for a bunch of Floridians. The views from all sides of the cabin are gorgeous and I personally spent a couple hours outside sitting on a boulder just enjoying the scenery. My teens bought a sled and there was enough snow for them to slide down the side yard and make a mini snowman with a pine needle mohawk “hair” due. Thank you for sharing this place with us. We will look for availability next time we go to Arizona.

WORST PROPERTY WE HAVE EVER OCCUPIED!!
For the past 5 years have stayed in the area (due to previously living here for 15 years) anywhere from early May through Sept. The description of this property is grossly over exaggerated & one of the most filthy places I have ever seen. Charges of over $8700 for 28 days, Day 1- huge snake going under the foundation, so many bugs & spiders going up the walls & coming out of drains - had to have them call pest control & they were there for almost 2 hours; additional charge of $250 for working internet, non-disclosure of limited tv service, no tvs in spare bedrooms & non-working tv in master, toilet seats all on crooked & loose; filthy couch & surroundings-had to cover everything-dryer screeched so loud - that we had to shut door & put towel under it & still so loud. Dangerous sharp corner location to get in & out of drive; nightstands full of trash & garbage - other drawers just had dirt & other debris in them so we did not use; coffee pot so scaled that it was inoperable & no containers to put “cooked” food in - so I purchased them. The owner claimed my purchase was “unauthorized” when I asked to be refunded for the $150 purchase - I just want to warn anyone looking to stay here - it is disgusting & I have never left a negative complaint on a property. We have stayed in well over 20 VRBO’s in the past 5 years & have never encountered anything this disgusting. I do not believe that any of the reviews left on this property are legit & we are filing a complaint.

The owner has you on camera without your consent !
We rented this place with another family everything was great until the owner messages me and said her neighbors saw a dog go into the cabin. Mind you we don’t have dogs and this place allows dogs. She ruined my who weekend harassing us. Said we brought a dog without asking which we didn’t. When we where gone and my son was napping he’s older friends stopped by with there very expensive non shedding dog for less than 3 mins and I guess took the dog inside we had no idea. Esther harassed us all weekend long about this and was never listed or told there was cameras on this property listening to our conversation etc. we have tons of friends that live in Munds Park and are on the board which is the couple that stopped by that can’t believe this owner would harass us like this. I will never rent this place again nor will any of our friends. Also it has a very steep driveway to get in and out of on a Main Street should be noted in the listing as well.

Wonderful cabin in the woods
This cabin was wonderful for our stay. It was so big and warm and inviting. Had plenty of stuff for us to stay in and cook if we wanted, and a great living room for watching movies or Netflix. The deck was great too! Would definitely bring the kids next time we come as there is plenty of room!
