You're paying for the location, nothing else. Service is indifferent. No soap in bathroom. Rooms need major upkeep, with paint peeling off in many places. Mobile reception was terrible in room. Avoid. You can do a lot better for your money.
I really don't think I can revise my review as It was not accommodation that I could recommend. Please check again whether you should have it on your list.
It was an Expensive mistake for me to book it. I would appreciate A REFUND IF THAT WERE POSSIBLE.
No wifi the whole three days, bad service, the mobile man who was organised by the hotel, didn't set up the phone and charged ridiculous prices, air conditioner leaks, smallest room, overpriced - just don't stay
Stayed at this hotel based on the reviews and price. Unfortunately the price was good but the hotel is not. Yes it is in a quiet location, but down a very muddy street so walking is messy. The staff are very nice, but the hotel itself is dark, dingy and my room was very small and moldy. The aircon has only 1 setting, so you have to keep turning it on an off. Breakfast is pretty much a small omelet, white bread, juice and tea or coffee. I wanted to like this hotel because the staff were nice, but it was more suitable for backpackers.
the pictures on the website are from 5 years ago. Years of rain and no maintenance has worn down the hotel. Unfortunately, despite its proximity to the beach, it's not a wise choice.
I stayed for couple of hours but it was relaxing. Ambience was very comfortable. No disturbance. Nice. I am happy. I would definitely go back and recommend.
Venture to a California surfside palace of the 70s or envision a Colonial India ruled by all things once British. At this fanatsic hotel sprinkled with a bed and breakast cozyness....I am enamored by the physical building structure, very Victorian Renaissance with a whimsical touch of Grandma's tender love and care. Here you can wake up each morning to enjoy breakfast or walk across to see the sun rise. I highly recommend.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
rooms a too small for a comfy stay .
1) small rooms , almost felt claustrophobic (given the cost)
2) even though staff is good , food isn't , go out and eat
3) room given to us was right in front of the reception , extremely disturbing
4) one room we booked was available only at 2 PM , even though check-in time was 12 noon .
5) some guest was shouting in the middle of the night , possibly drunk and none of the hotel staff was doing anything
Was not so comfortable. Coz they have put in tooooo much of restrictions. obviously no one will like it including family. For the room and facilities you get is not worth 4k seriously.

Nice concept, poorly executed
Lots of potential - rooms are well designed, location is good. WiFi is fantastic. However, poorly executed. My room had cobwebs everywhere. Sheets didn't fit the bed so I woke up most mornings sleeping directly on what I discovered was a pretty old and dirty mattress. Similar cleanliness issues in the bathroom. Staff was very rude to the extent that I spent time on the phone with HOTELS and the owner in an effort to switch my booking elsewhere after trying to check in. The location is nice and they have strong internet, cable tv, and a/c. But due to the very small, dirty rooms and rude staff I don't feel that I got value for my money and will be staying in one of the other nearby hotels in the future.
Hotels.com guys should be very careful while suggesting any hotel to people-Guy told me this is a 3 start property ! it was pathetic, dirty, small rooms etc etc- definitely not a place to be with your family.
This hotel is close to Juhu beach, so the location is good. But the tvs in the room may or may not have a signal, which was annoying at times. Otherwise no complaints about this hotel. Staff was friendly as well.
The location of the hotel is very decent, it is very close to Juhu Beach. This is the only good point. The rooms are very cramped, hotel staff is very relaxed. When I checked in we reach early around 0930 and so had to wait for the room no complain as the check-in time is 12, but the staff had no courtesy of even offering a glass of water. Small gestures big Impact. The price taken by Expedia for such a property is very high. 4K per night is definitely very high price for this property.
We stayed for 2 days, and it was our 2nd visit to JC.It was nice cozy place to be in, gets you what you want. Good breakfast, and tasty mutton biryani...5 mins walk to Juhu sea shore..... We had a lovely experience & we recommend this hotel for stay.
Mumbai is expensive so this was a fairly good deal. Room was clean and comfortable. They let me check in a bit early after morning flight arrival, which was nice. Internet did not work in top floor room, so they switched me to first floor room. Juhu is quite far from downtown and Colaba, as well as nearest train station. Not much choice in restaurants in the area and the beach is, well, hard to see the sand for the debris.

Average stay
The hotel is a little smaller than expected. It is probably a bungalow that is converted into a service accomodation kind of a place.
When i arrived, at around 2pm, i was made to wait for 20 odd minutes as the room to be alloted to me on the 2nd floor was still being cleaned. I was offered an alternate on the ground floor which i refused.
The room was a little dingy with a blue led behind the bed. The bathroom curtain was quite dirty and the shower room was a little small for a 6 foot 1 incher wit a 44 inch chest like me. But i could manage. The bed was soft n springy. Bath towels could be better washed n perfumed i guess. Mini bar was adequately stuffed with over priced miniature liquor. Even the bisleri water was chargeable. I had to call for a jugg of water.
Food was above average. I had butter chicken, roti, dal and rice.
The lane is a narrow one wit no car park. U might have to park on the road. If u do get a parking, it wud b under a large tree and the next morning it would be covered in bird droppings.
The room AC seemed broken and hanging but did cool the room after about a good 30-35min.
