Charming and well-maintained, it boasted a spacious living area, comfortable bedrooms, and a rustic, homey feel. The deck was ideal for both daytime relaxation and nighttime stargazing. We made good use of the well-equipped kitchen, preparing delicious meals daily.The owners had thought of everything, providing extra blankets, towels, and a wide selection of movies and games. While it was just my son and me, I noted the abundance of games—perfect for families with children.Mornings on the deck were magical. Waking to the sounds of nature and those incredible mountain views was pure tranquility. Nearby, we explored Mueller State Park with its distant mountain vistas, and Eleven Mile State Park, where we witnessed brave souls ice fishing on the frozen lake. We also visited charming mountain towns like Cripple Creek (and its impressive ice sculptures) and, of course, Pikes Peak and Gar"

"The property is quaint and cozy with beautiful views and evidence of wildlife galore. The personality of the cabin is charming, and the amenities plentiful. Additionally the cabin is within minutes of local businesses, restaurants, and breweries.Robin was a wonderful host - we stayed during an unusual and brutally cold weather pattern and Robin went out of the way to make sure we were safe and enjoying our time. It was a simply amazing experience and we can’t wait to return!"

"Everyone in my group thought this cabin was even better than we were expecting. The mattresses were more comfortable than they looked in pictures. I think they were memory foam, but they were definitely on the more firm end. The cabin was cute and cozy, and the location was the perfect amount of nature. We saw several deer right outside the windows, and there was a good amount of snow that we were pleasantly surprised by when we went at the end of December. It even lightly snowed one night during our stay, but the dirt roads were clear to drive on. It was about a 30 minute drive from most of the activities we had planned, but it was a very easy and beautiful drive to several close by towns. I’d definitely recommend having a rental car to explore Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.
