"Majorie House", named after my late grandmother is an impressive and stylish property. Lovingly renovated with a perfect blend of old charm and modern touches. Climate controlled AC in the living room, plus a wood burning fireplace. Plenty of space indoors & outdoors to accommodate up to 8 guests. Just 0.8km from Mudgee town centre– it’s a pleasant stroll to town to visit cafes, pubs & our boutique shops.
It is a perfect location to explore the region's best wineries & cellar doors.

This home features:

- Stunning designer style kitchen with Carrera marble splashback, state of the art appliances.

- Spacious open plan living commanding natural light, originally restored floor to ceiling fireplace also featuring Carrera marble

- High ceilings throughout and timber flooring

- Large master bedroom with built-in robe and garden view

- Three additional bedrooms all with built-in robes

- Both bathrooms are thoughtfully planned with a modern layout yet a vintage design to go with the home

- Garden firepit during the cooler months

-Spacious rustic designer garden with feature wall

- Huge entertainers' verandah deck with cafe ambience lighting that leads to a bbq area and overlooks our back garden with established trees and fruit trees that are planted by my wife and I many years ago. You're more than welcome to enjoy the apples and pears on the trees during your stay with us☺️

Great location, not great for a large group
Had 8 people in the house for a weekend which was lovely but a single shower that doesn’t drain properly meant the bathroom was flooded the whole time. Not as clean and picturesque as posted, gardens completely overgrown with random rubbish through the yard. Linens and towels provided were clean.

This property needs to be delisted
Property was booked and confirmed but arrived at the house to find residents in the house and were unable to contact the host. Neighbours confirmed this had happened several times with many other disappointed bookers. Stays you must action this complaint else further action will be taken.

Gorgeous little cottage stay
What a beautiful stay! I organised a family get away and we took our dog with us. Everyone was comfortable the house is gorgeous and all of the little touches were perfect. The backyard is enormous. We went in the middle of winter and it was deliciously warm inside the home. The property is quaint and has that vintage feel to it.

Beautiful house to stay in Mudgee
We had a lovely couple of days staying here. The house is beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor deck area which was a lovely place to sit. House is very well located for visiting Mudgee. Excellent communication with host. Thank-you!

Timeless elegance
Had a business trip in Mudgee, and booked Majorie House which turned out to be the best decision. Clean property with easy check-in and check-out process, the host also welcomed us with baked brie, crackers, and honey the treat platter of happiness. One of us just loved the mini jams and honey jars. The property is big and well designed, close to town and restaurants. Wish we could have booked for the weekend. Overall it was a good and professional experience. Thank you Stayz.
