"The cabin is situated in the grounds of the manor house that once belonged to the author Laurence Durell. The hostess is amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Walk out of the secure grounds and you are in the old town of Sommieres, with its numerous restaurants and bars . This place could not score higher if you want a base to explore the area."

"We stayed only 2 nights in this very clean, with love decorated house. Really friendly owner, complete house, very comfortable. The guests from another appartment at the property share the entrance, you are therefore outside not totally privat, but inside the house you are . We would highly recommend this beautiful place!"

"The owner was very gracious & welcoming. This home has great spaces & is very well stocked with kitchen equipment. The village is quaint & is a great base x nearby attractions. It was a little confusing finding the home but rewarding to find it tucked just off a main road. Definitely a great place to enjoy family & unwind."

"We had a fantastic stay here - the quality of the apartment is very high and the air conditioning was much appreciated. Danielle was a lovely hostess and we managed to communicate well despite our limited French. The location is a beautiful and tranquil one outside the village and close to the lagoons. Lovely beaches, scenery and wildlife. We can't wait to return."

"We (2 adults, 1 child) stayed at the Gite d’Emma for a very hot week in August. The gite is very modern and very well equipped with everything you could need. The air conditioning unit was incredible and much needed - and kept everyone cool during the heat. The outdoor kitchen is fabulous as is the balcony with beautiful views. Het huis is koel, eventueel kan de airco ook aan. Dat was niet altijd nodig ofschoon we er midden in de hete weken waren. De badkamer is zeer comfortabel, een heerlijke doche! Dank Klimaanlage und Insektenschutz vor den Fenstern ist die Wohnung auch bei heißem oder schwülem Wetter sehr angenehm. Genug Stellplatz für Fahrräder im verschlossenen Hof. Für Internet am besten ein Café aufsuchen - oder Geduld haben. Danielle und Jean sind großartige Gastgeber. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"
