"I loved that this place was so small (only three rooms) and right on the beach. It was an easy walk to restaurants, hangout spots and the surf breaks. I was looking for an affordable place to stay in Popoyo that had a shared kitchen but I am in my 40s and didn't want to stay at a party hostel. Wild Waves was PERFECT for me! Great hidden get away!

"The property is 2KM in via dirt / somewhat paved road (can be a bit rough). Once there, paradise. Cabins are lake side; clean and nice! Restaurant is good and can eat along side exotic birds (that are waiting for you to drop something:)"

Unique experience

"The room was beautiful with amazing views of the volcano and lake. There were monkeys on the property. The staff were freindly and helpful. There was a compost toilet in my room and solar panels on the property. The shower was really cool, it was in a outdoir area of the restroom with plants and rocks. "
