"Firstly this b&b is most certainly NOT in a rural location as described by Expedia and is definitely NOT multilingual. Just the one member of ‘staff’. The b&b is in the city centre and surrounded by buildings. The only parking is on street - if your lucky. The place does not have its own ‘free parking’ at all. We arrived at b&b at 20.00 after booking our room at 13.30 on the same day to find no one there. Proprietor eventually appeared from property next door as we phoned him and he had no idea...

La chambre est grande avec une belle salle de bain, juste les WC sont en extérieur de la chambre en face. Le lit est super confortable et l'environnement verdoyant dans quartier résidentiel. J'étais seule mais je me suis senti en sécurité. "

"It is a lovely studio apartment, very homely and comfortable and is nicely furnished with good hearing. I only stayed one night, would be nice to stay longer. It is in a quiet area but easy to get to nearby villages and towns (Herseaux, Leers, Roubaix). There are supermarkets nearby such as Lidl and Aldi, and the apartment has everything for cooking. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, they didn’t speak much English and unfortunately my French isn’t very good! But it was not a...

"We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived even though the owners had not realized we had booked. They did their best to get the room ready quickly. They provided us with an evening meal and a complimentary drink. The guesthouse is lovely and very freshly modern. Breakfast was great and had a lovely selection of foods. The room was very warm, however, even with windows open. Noise from the road traffic may put off light sleepers but this is not the fault of the owners."

"We had a great time staying in this lovely home. The room was delightful, clean, and our hosts were very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was terrific. With good weather, there is enough space outdoors to sit and eat or read. We were told that occasionally the Tour de France goes by this house, and it is relatively close to Lille and the football stadium. It is also close to the historic site Bouvines. This is a good place to stay outside of a large city. We highly recommend this house."
