"Bill our host met us on arrival, communication was great and very friendly. The property is located under the family home but it’s private, extremely clean and conveniently located a short drive to most attractions. We only stayed the one night as we were driving from Auckland down south but will be back. Thanks again"

"Oh my lord! This valley hideaway was one of our favourites on our trip so far. It was an ideal location, beautiful scenery, so quiet, peaceful and tranquil. We loved being at the property and meeting Bob and Cathy. Cannot thank them enough for being so kind, welcoming and warm to us during our stay. "The location of Kundaniwas was ideal is so many ways. Even though it is close to the adjacent property, it is nestled in the bush so that it has a really private feel to it. The trailhead for Lake Okereka (recommended) is conveniently just across the street. It is just a few minutes from Rotorua, and its many attractions, but apart from the crowd. The house itself is tidy, clean & well laid out. I had a great stay!"

The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the back yard was a perfect place to relax after big adventures. "This is a great area down by the lake, very peaceful. The boathouse has everything you'd need and is super comfy. Sarah is friendly and instantly responsive to any questions. 100% would stay again. Very pleasant."

"The studio apartment was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The gift of wine and snacks was really thoughtful and the breakfast cereal was much appreciated. Our host was easy to communicate with and the outside garden was lovely to sit in. I did have concerns around the height of the shower over the bath, so I practiced getting in and out (fully clothed to make sure it was doable) and it was fine- just make sure the rubber backed mat is on the floor and not the other one that slides on...
