We had a wonderful experience here. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the creek and fire pit. It's in a beautiful spot for us folks who enjoy nature and the mountains in the area.

A wonderful and secluded getaway
This little cottage is perfect for a secluded getaway. My husband, kids, and I came here to getaway and to connect with nature. It was a wonderful experience. They enjoyed seeing natural wildlife and how they had so much room to explore. The creek was so much fun to swim and splash in. It’s not too far from town. We enjoyed our stay so much and hope to return.

This is the 2nd time to stay at this cabin. We absolutley LOVE it. If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay and still not far from town this is the place. We have met the owner and he was great. I bought a Keurig the 1st time I stayed there and left it there for when we return we liked it so much. We will definitely go back!

Private and Relaxing
This stay was exactly what I was looking for! August is super hot in the summer, but especially in August. Cool water was a top priority when I started searching for a get away spot for my sister and I. The description was right on target. We walked down to the creek and just floated around and relaxed in the water all day! The cabin’s porch was comfortably large and we enjoyed sitting outside every night with NO MOSQUITOES or FLIES!! . The cabin was stocked with everything from basic spices in the kitchen to toiletries for the bathroom. No trips to town needed at all, so our time was solely used for escaping. Everything about our stay was perfect and the host could not have been any better! I am already looking for an opportunity to go back!

We loved everything about this property. It was secluded, surrounded by beautiful trees. The creek on the property was perfect. We enjoyed a little fishing in the evenings and exploring the nearby attractions. The house was the perfect size for the two of us and we're already talking about going back. A nature lovers dream.

Perfect Get-A-Way
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to relax and enjoy nature at its best! This cottage is nestled in a canopy of trees where the only sounds you hear will be birds and the rippling creek. We enjoyed mornings on the porch drinking our coffee and planning our day. Be sure to bring what you need since it is a bit of a drive into town. The kitchen space is perfect size with anything you would need. The space was perfect for the two of us although there is plenty of sleeping space for more We will go back again one day.

The location being in the middle of no where with creek access for only us made it one of the most relaxing, peaceful trips our family has ever had! If you get the chance to rent this property, you definitely should!

Time away!
The cabin is a great place to get away from it all. The creek was fantastic. We even saw a mink on the creek’s side. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful place in Mountain View area. Also, go into town on Saturday nights to listen to the music. You won’t be disappointed.

Secluded Gem
This cabin is as advertised. We were impressed from the moment we arrived till checkout. From sitting on the porch listening to secluded forest sounds to sitting in the beautiful creek on a hot sunny day, this place was wonderful. It’s far enough from other homes yet convenient to town. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner he couldn’t have been more accommodating. We will, in all likelihood, use this cabin again in the future.
