Kitchen was fantastic with 2 dishwashers and a big wall oven and gas stovetop. Plenty of seating, and space. All appliances worked as stated. Marc is the best! What a great host. The dock and kayaks were enjoyed by our teen sons. The location was convenient and close to everything. We will definitely be staying here again. "

The owners provide several games and activities, including a game table and bumper pool, that the kids loved. It has a great view and backyard access to the Cullasaja River. It is located halfway between Franklin and Highlands, and is within just a few miles of multiple, easy-access waterfalls. "

"We rented this home for Thanksgiving week and we were very impressed with how thoughtful the host was. They even supplied a turkey roasting pan for us. The beds were so comfortable with hi-end linens and pillows. We brought our boat and dogs and the property was so nice. "If you haven't been to Highlands, NC, I highly recommend it. And I don't think you can find a better home to stay in. It's perfect for my husband and me, our two grown children and spouses, and two grandchildren (ages 2 and 5). The host was extremely responsive. This home is nicer than my own and has every kitchen item you need to cook meals. It is super close to the downtown and beautiful waterfalls."
